Chapter 478: Return to the Magic Academy
Chapter 478: Return to the Magic Academy
The two God Spirits entered a soul-keeping artifact as they had to wait for their new body to be crafted. Lifa, Nell, Rhea, Gaia, and Fortuna entered the Nature Realm as they had to do something while waiting for them to arrive at the magic academy’s private realm.
Elysia’s family members and He-Dao’s group exited the great dungeon via teleportation. They returned to the entrance gate, but it was still dark outside, only lit by a few glowing crystals.
The first one to notice the ’new students’ returning was the student council secretary. She informed her comrades and rushed to welcome the ’new students’
"Welcome back! Juniors, is it true that you advanced past beyond 10th floor? What is your situation? How far have you progressed?" The secretary checked the entire group. The new students were unharmed, and they looked like they had never encountered any obstacles.
"Hi~ thank you for your worry and concern, senior sister. Yes, we managed to advance, but there is a limit to how far we are allowed to go." Elysia stepped forward, representing everyone to answer.
"So, you formed a pretty large group, huh... Hum, there is a limit to how far you are allowed to progress, especially because you are still a newbie. But, it is a truly extraordinary achievement for new students to pass the 10th floor." The secretary nodded without considering it any deeper.
"Ahem! New students, you showed an extraordinary feat in this great dungeon exploration test. Please follow me to my tent." Glen cleared his throat and called out from afar.
"Principal called you all. He will reward you according to your feat. You don’t need to feel nervous." The secretary gave a thumbs-up with an encouraging smile.
"..." The student council president and her comrades approached. They hoped to speak with these talented new students, but the principal had already issued his summons. Therefore, she and her comrades couldn’t stop these talented new students.
"They are all charming and talented. I feel a bit jealous. Can you figure out their origins and backgrounds, Yasmin?" The student council president whispered to her secretary, but her gaze was glued to those new students.
"I don’t know, but the acting leader of that group is the violet-eyed, black-haired girl at the front." Yasmin covered her mouth and replied in a whisper.
"Violet? Her appearance reminds me of someone, but I can’t recall it somehow. She looks like a support-type mage, or maybe a priestess." The student council vice president rubbed his chin as he observed those new students from behind.
"We don’t have any information about them at all. Even their team members refused to disclose any information about them. Why is the principal protecting their information? This curiosity is slowly killing me..." The student council president gently nibbled her fingernail, feeling restless and uncomfortable.
"Whatever their identities, they are definitely not ordinary people. Don’t do silly and stupid things or you will suffer, President Milena." Yasmin sternly reminded the curious student council president.
"I know." Milena heaved a subtle sigh.

While most people were still resting in their tents, Elysia’s group entered the principal’s tent.
The principal erected a soundproof barrier and invited everyone to sit down.
"We also have some things to discuss with you, Principal Glenn. I represent my Goddess sisters. We wish to know more about the God Spirit who currently resides in the magic academy’s private world." Elysia didn’t beat around the bush and immediately took the lead in the conversation.
"So, you already know about him... I presume you’ve reached past the 57th floor. However, before we continue, can you please tell me about your intentions?" Glenn made a steeple of his fingers.
He felt a bit nervous because the one before him was none other than the group that saved the world. However, he still had to know their intentions.
"We meant no harm. Our initial intention was to probe deeper into the Misty Great Dungeon and figure out the dungeon master’s intention. He is a fellow God who fought in the holy war 150 thousand years ago. We may help him out, but it depends on his situation and conditions." Elysia closed her eyes and shook her head.
"Is that so... then, alright. You should come with us to the magic academy’s private world. He isolated himself in his grand palace to recover. If he knew that his old comrades would come to visit him, he would definitely be overjoyed." Glenn breathed a sigh of relief. He almost laughed happily, but his professionalism put his joy under control.
"Is he the magic academy’s superintendent?" Elysia asked just in case.
"Yeah, you guessed it correctly. The God of Trade’s spirit is our hidden backer." Glenn nodded by reflex.
"!~" Rhea guessed it correctly again. She felt proud and happy because her premonition and foreboding could probably rival Fortuna’s divination skill already.

A few moments later, the magic academy’s floating ship was prepared to take off to bring the students and academy’s executives back to the holy capital city.
The enrollment test was supposedly an annual event, but this year would be an exception because the academy would hold the enrollment test twice.
The reason was because the event was held three weeks earlier. The enrollment test for the second batch would be held at the officially determined time.
"It’s sunrise." Erina muttered in amazement. This world was beautiful if she put aside the other chaotic things.
Elysia sensed Miko’s upgrade was complete, but she had no role for her avatars to play at the moment. She advised her disciples to rest in the cabin because the return trip might take a while.
"Don’t push yourself. You’ve worked hard for the entire month, and we barely got any proper rest today. Once we arrive at the holy capital city, I will personally wake you up." Elysia tried to convince her disciples because they felt reluctant to go to the ship’s cabin to rest in the student rooms that had been prepared.
"But, what about you, mama?" Jophiel held her master’s hand.
"We shall enjoy the breeze for a while, and rearrange several things. We had a good rest yesterday, but you were involved in many things even though you just came out of the Divine Angel Trial. Your body needs a proper rest now." Elysia held her long hair and looked at the sun, enjoying the breeze and scenery.
As the sun’s rays broke over the horizon, the entire scene was bathed in a golden light. The sky transformed into a radiant display of colors with the golden orb of the sun rising majestically, casting its light over the floating ship and the clouds below.
The light played off the ship’s polished surfaces, creating a dance of reflections and shadows. The masts and rigging cast intricate patterns on the deck, while the sails caught the early morning breeze, fluttering gently.
The ten disciples enjoyed the sunrise scenery with their master for a little longer before heeding their master’s wish. They did feel a bit sleepy, and a proper rest was necessary, considering that they would join the world boss raid against the Polluted Sea God tomorrow.
"We can’t take a proper rest in an unfamiliar place. It doesn’t give us a sense of safety, master. We’d be fine to pitch a private tent and rest in the storage pouch’s space." Gabriella shook her head, representing her juniors in their decision.
She took out a storage pouch and went inside. Her juniors soon took turns going in there. Jophiel was the last one, and she entrusted the storage pouch to her beloved master. Under their master’s protection, they could sleep soundly and feel safe even in the most dangerous area.
"Oow, Mio... why is your body so hot?" Erina gasped in surprise because Mio was emitting an abnormally hot temperature.
However, she received some confused stares from everyone. Her words were interpreted as something else, and she soon realized her mistake with a hint of embarrassment.
"Ahem! I mean, Mio, why is your body temperature so high? Do you have a fever?" Erina explained it in words that were easy to understand.
"I don’t have a fever." Mio checked her body, but she felt healthy and fit.
"It’s related to the advanced body refining technique. It’s not a real fever, but you should cultivate in sleep, Mio. Go in and have a proper rest. You should be fine when you wake up. Your body’s muscles may transform." Elysia explained Mio’s situation with deep understanding.
"But..." Mio felt reluctant to leave Erina’s side, but Erina nodded in reply.
"No buts. It’s for your good." Erina gently pushed Mio into the storage pouch.
"I’ll watch over her." Ariel received a signal from Ella and offered to look after Mio.
"Hum~ this kind of sensation and excitement... If only our academy experiences were this peaceful and wonderful..." Evelyn spread her arms, enjoying the breeze.
Compared to her generic academy experiences and the boring enrollment test, the academy’s new system was nice. She felt like being a student again, but she remembered that she was a high-level mage, only playing the apprentice with her fellow sisters.
The only good thing about her academy experiences was her encounter with Elysia and Ella. She couldn’t remember the rest because the great war against the Ruvoid broke out a few weeks after her enrollment.
For today, she wished to spend the day as a student with her fellow sisters, and she voiced out to everyone via Elysium Group Chat.
"Sure thing~" Elysia responded with a kind smile. That would be a great idea. Evelyn would take the lead to let everyone experience a day as students.
