My Goddess is Good at Pretending

Chapter 488: God-Tier Deathmatch Simulation

Chapter 488: God-Tier Deathmatch Simulation

Regardless of what had just occurred, Elysia still fulfilled Evelyn’s request as a student for a day.

Once Elysia returned to the magic academy’s region, she and her Goddess sisters joined the girls to do many activities.

Unfortunately, time passed swiftly once they enjoyed it, and there was a limit to what they could do in a single day.

At dusk, Elysia opened the private lesson to train her people and check their recent developments. She provided several pointers, guidance, and insights.

"Phew..." Gabriella wiped her sweat with a towel. Among all the activities at today’s event, the best thing she received was her master’s private lesson.

"Your demonic qi will become chaotic if you unleash your technique with that method. Try to channel your initial move from outside to inside, then vice versa. Accumulate them like this, then use them like this." He-Dao spoke in a casual tone, but strictness was clear in his voice.

He guided the troubled half-demon boy. Since Elysia didn’t have much experience with the demonic power, then he might as well do her a favor.

"Qi is the magical energy in your surroundings, and mana is the magical energy within your body." Azrael recited his chant and practiced his new breathing technique. He managed to grasp the serene flow, and he thanked the Lord of Heaven for it.

"Your improvement is astonishing, Azra-kun. Calmness is the initial key. If you maintain your serenity, it will boost your technique’s effectiveness." Elysia put her hands together, feeling happy about her disciple’s recent progress.

Among all the disciples, Azrael was the most unstable one because of his chaotic mixture of innate demonic power. Every advancement would take a great effort, and that reason pushed Azrael to become the most hard-working one.

"Thank you, master." Azrael appreciated his master’s praise. The word was simple, but it boosted his enthusiasm from within.

"Uh-huff, instead of a day as a student, we became a day as a disciple instead. When I think about it, I’m already too used to Quadtria’s standard. Vrelenia’s magic research barely interested me." Evelyn sat on the ground and straightened her legs, catching her breath.

It didn’t mean she was dissatisfied because of the schedule change, but her enthusiasm dimmed when she discovered that even the highest-level access couldn’t even rival the mid-tier magic research in Xentia’s database.

Her research in Quadtria for five years was even more effective and fruitful than the research history of the Vrelenian wizards and mages for decades.

"It’s not that they are backward, but Quadtria are far advanced. It’s a higher world, remember? Apart from the ancient knowledge from the lost era of Gods, Vrelenia to Quadtria is like a lake to the sea." Ella shook her head. The different worlds had different rules and standards.

"Hmm, that makes sense. I was interested because I was never able to access them in my previous life in this world. Anyway, being a disciple is actually good."

"You talk as if you were reincarnated into another world, Eve."

"Hehe, sorry. Then, can we revise my new lightning technique? Maybe, I can rival the heavenly tribulation magical output soon."

"Hum, sure. But, we need to ask the Goddess’ assistance if you want to try something dangerous."

"Let’s go to Goddess of Nature. She masters all elements."

Evelyn floated like a joyful girl and asked Rhea for help.

"My lady, would you mind to fight me?" Yuna issued a challenge out of the blue.

The time seemed to stop for a few seconds. Everyone in the training field was stunned in shock. The spar stopped, the magical experiment stopped, and the training excitement suddenly became an absolute silence.

Even the wind seemed afraid to disturb the silence. He-Dao was also wide-eyed in surprise at what his heavenly agent suddenly said to Elysia.

"Do you mean a spar? Yeah, sure. But, is there a particular reason for this?" Elysia responded kindly as she knew Yuna only hoped for guidance, not a real fight.

"Eh, ah, yes. It’s a spar, not a fight. I wish to hone my skills in the higher realm, but I’ve been stuck at 16th Rank for thousands of years. I haven’t even succeeded in achieving any minor breakthrough..." Yuna clenched her hand into a fist, feeling frustrated.

"Do you have a clue to help Yuna, He-Dao?" Elysia turned to the Lord of Heaven.

"My path is vastly different from any other living creature. I can guide them only up to the 15th Rank. Beyond that, they have no one but themselves to discover the truth to their breakthrough and ascension." He-Dao breathed a sigh. His agent just said it wrong, and he thought that Yuna was trying to fight Elysia for real.

Elysia discussed it with her Goddess sisters briefly in private. After a mutual decision was made, she clapped her hands for attention. "Hum, it’s dusk already. The last lesson for today is the deathmatch simulation."

"!!!" Almost everyone was surprised by the announcement, leaving Yuna panicked.

"My, my lady! Please pardon me for my misspoken word just now. I wasn’t really trying to offend you." Yuna’s face slowly turned pale as she rushed to explain it to Elysia.

"It’s like a real deadly battle, but we won’t be able to inflict actual harm to the opponent." Elysia patted Yuna’s shoulder.

It had been a while since she participated in a deadly battle simulation. Since her opponent was He-Dao’s right-hand confidante and also the strongest heavenly agent, she could use this opportunity to see how far she could unleash her personal divine powers and heavenly laws.

"Good luck, senior sister. I will cheer for you outside the arena." Amy raised her thumbs up and patted Yuna’s back.

"I didn’t expect this, but it would be risky to spar here. The impact can make the realm collapse." He-Dao looked at his surroundings.

Even though it was a spar with certain security measures, he wasn’t sure this private world could withstand Yuna’s might, let alone Elysia’s destructive move.

"Fufu, of course not." Elysia created a bubble realm, the mini version of her domain expansion.

The bubble changed color to become like an artificial outer space. Elysia dropped it to the ground and it enlarged to three meters in diameter.

Elysia nodded and called out to everyone. "We’ll do the spar in a separate dimension, the lite version of my domain. Does anyone want a deathmatch simulation in preparation for tomorrow too?"

"It’s nice. We can do it after watching your match, master." Zera’s eyes sparkled with great interest, but her turn would wait for later. She craved to witness Elysia’s divine power first.

Everyone was intrigued. They could go all-out on a spar without having to worry about fatally harming the opponent. But, they also wished to witness the spar between Elysia and Yuna first.

"Then, let’s go." Elysia beckoned to Yuna to enter her bubble realm.

"Y-yes, please..." Yuna started to regret her decision to challenge Elysia to a spar, but she couldn’t back down now. She would fight the supreme divinity who created a mini realm out of the blue in just a matter of seconds.

*Poof*

Elysia and Yuna entered the bubble realm, floating in the middle of the outer space arena. Everyone followed suit, but they got teleported into spectator seats in the safe zone. The bubble realm soon erected a defensive barrier to ensure that no intruder from the outside world entered.

"Go-go, Ely~ Ready Set. Ready set. You bet! Say, go, go, you mighty Ely. Fight, fight, yes mighty Ely. Win, win, you mighty Ely. Go, Go, fight and win, Ely!" Elena played her pom-poms like a cheerleader.

"Fufu~" Elysia waved her hand at Elena. She felt a little embarrassed, but she was glad to receive Elena’s moral support.

For this spar, she wouldn’t use her Goddess sisters’ divinities. No other additional help as well. So, Elena, Ai, and Zera who usually stay close by her side wouldn’t be involved. It was just between her and Yuna. Yuna wasn’t the only one who wished to use this opportunity to improve.

"There are no referees or special rules here. The spar will end once you are sent to the backroom to prevent life-threatening harm." Elysia explained a little.

"My lady, since the situation has become like this, I will go all-out. As an honorable immortal practitioner, I hope you will not underestimate me." Yuna clasped her fist to pay her respect.

After saying that, she manifested a ball of light on her palm. It merged with her, infusing her with divine energy. She was enveloped in a cocoon of light, undergoing a profound transformation.

As the light faded, Yuna emerged clad in a heavenly battlesuit. The suit was a masterpiece of celestial craftsmanship, made of radiant, white-gold armor that shimmered with an ethereal glow and intricate runes pulsated with divine energy.

Yuna’s overall capabilities enhanced to the peak of 16th Rank, rivaling the 17th Rank Immortal King’s aura. In her hand, a weapon materialized. A gleaming sword forged from the pure white holy light.

"Please guide me as well, Agent Yuna." Elysia put her hands together, summoning a tiny sun between her palms.

The tiny sun flared up, wrapping her entire body in a radiant golden flame. Once the golden flames faded, she emerged in her divine battlesuit, the same suit she used to fight the Ruvoid God five years ago.

Six magnificent angelic wings on her back, each feather shimmering with a golden hue. Her eyes glowed with ethereal light, and a four-pointed star kaleidoscopic twin halo hovered above her head.

To respond to Yuna’s challenge, she also materialized a sword forged by pure divine light.

A large kaleidoscopic crescent chakram appeared on her back, hovering and slowly spinning with hundreds of sharp aurora crystal shards attached, emitting a deep magical power.

"Please enlighten me." Yuna paid her respect once again.

Elena rang the celestial bell, signaling the start of the sparring match. Elysia and Yuna nodded to each other in mutual respect before assuming their battle stances.

The one who gained the first turn would gain the most advantage. Yuna believed it. Her opponent held a supreme power. Thus, she didn’t even need to hold back.
