My Goddess is Good at Pretending

Chapter 528: Training Hall Space

Chapter 528: Training Hall Space

The simulated realm was the newly refined private realm imbued with Elysia’s divinity and absolute domain expansion. Countless corrupted cosmic creatures above the 11th Rank were prepared in the training hall space in advance, and they would respawn endlessly as long as there was enough energy for it.

The stronger monsters would await at the depths. The monster’s rank also determined the total score students would receive on their hunt.

As for how the realm could empower itself, the technology was similar to Vrelenia’s Cube Island to self-sustain.

However, since Elysia’s imaginary divinity and absolute domain were installed there to regulate everything, the dispersing energy would be absorbed by the space and transferred to Elysia. It would become one of her new farming grounds, the shortcut to fill her SP and MP.

"Hum-mm~" Elysia nodded with satisfaction. She worked hard to create this simulated realm. "So, who wants to give it a try? You can go individually or form a party with a maximum of five people."

"So, we need to collect a score of at least one hundred before we can try challenging the Nirvana Abyssal Demon’s replica?" He-Dao crossed his arms as he was still observing all corners of this simulated realm’s space.

This space was similar to Elysia’s domain, but it was converted into the private realm. Also, the awaited monsters this time might be harder than the Ruvoid God and the corrupted monsters he faced in the previous event.

"Precisely." Elysia nodded in confirmation.

"Bring it on! I’ll play solo and slay ’em all." The Shadow Monarch did a slight arm stretch as if he had been waiting for this.

He stepped forward and entered the portal, registering as the first party to challenge the trial.

As the cosmic monsters roared, the Shadow Monarch charged forward, eager to prove his superiority. But as the battle unfolded, it became clear that this realm demanded more than raw power.

Throughout the practice, Elysia, her family members, and students watched the Shadow Monarch’s showdown closely.

They knew that true growth often came from the harshest trials. Elysia was determined to guide her students, even the most arrogant, toward their fullest potential to fully prepare themselves against the Nirvana Abyssal Demon in the Nirvana Great War. In this simulated realm, they would either rise to the challenge or be humbled by it, learning valuable lessons about power feared by the great evil.

"It’s a brawl against the swarms. The battle simulation in the upcoming Nirvana Great War." Elysia announced. The essence of the training was to face countless enemies at once that came in waves.

Elysia found the Shadow Monarch began his showdown, and it would become her harvest time. The simulated realm consumed tons of resources and she had to make the best use of it as well.

He-Dao and everyone nodded in understanding. This training was specifically tailored for them. Since the Shadow Monarch volunteered to become the first one to give it a try, then everyone decided to watch everything and collect some information before they did their run.

---

In the heart of the simulated realm’s training hall space, a sense of anticipation and dread hung heavily in the air. The Shadow Monarch, an enigmatic figure clad in obsidian armor, stood alone against the backdrop of a dark, star-strewn sky. His presence was both commanding and foreboding, and his eyes glowed with a faint, eerie light that hinted at the immense power he wielded.

The simulated realm, a vast expanse of outer space terrain was brought to life by the Supreme Goddess of Mysterious Origin’s divinity. Its purpose was to replicate the horrors of the cosmos. Here, the Shadow Monarch would face his most awaited trial... a showdown against countless cosmic monsters, each more terrifying than the last.

"Am I the only one? Well, this is better because nobody can snatch my kill." The Shadow Monarch looked around. He was ready to advance, but he was a bit surprised because there were no other teams besides his solo party in this training hall space.

The others might want to watch him and gather some information first, but he was still the one who received the honor of being the first.

"Her Grace’s divinity is truly something." The Shadow Monarch brandished his shadow blade, admiring the extreme space created by Goddess Elysia.

Truth be told, everyone was aware that she was still a newly ascended 11th Rank Goddess, but nobody would dare to underestimate the supreme creation power holder. Everyone in Heavenly Palace’s circle respected her as a divine teacher and the savior, the Shadow Monarch was no exception.

"Here I am." The Shadow Monarch blinked at the closest enemy, unleashing his first one-hit-kill move.

These cosmic horrors with their grotesque forms and eldritch designs, surged forth, burning with malevolent intent. Tentacled leviathans, multi-limbed beasts, and winged abominations poured through the spatial rifts, filling the space with their guttural roars and the stench of alien fear.

The Shadow Monarch raised his hand, summoning forth the shadows from within himself. The darkness coalesced around him, forming a legion of shadowy minions that mirrored the monsters they would fight. With a single, commanding gesture, he sent his shadow legion charging into the fray.

The clash was immediate and violent. Shadows met flesh in a chaotic dance of battle. The Shadow Monarch moved with fluid precision. His blade of darkness cut through the monstrous hordes with ease. His attacks were swift and brutal, each strike calculated to inflict maximum damage. The cosmic monsters, relentless in their assault, fought back with savage fury, but their sheer numbers began to threaten and overwhelm him.

However, the Shadow Monarch was undeterred. He called upon the depths of his power, unleashing waves of dark energy that swept through the battlefield. His shadows multiplied, creating multiple clones to face the monstrous legions in ferocity and strength.

Amidst the carnage, the Shadow Monarch’s resolve remained unshaken. He danced through the battlefield like a death bringer. The cosmic monsters, despite their overwhelming numbers, began to falter against his relentless onslaught.

As the battle raged on, the Shadow Monarch unleashed his ultimate attack. Channeling the full extent of his power, he summoned a massive wave of darkness that swept across the space. The wave engulfed the monsters, consuming them in an abyss of shadows. Their roars turned to screams of agony as they were torn apart by the unyielding force.

When the darkness finally receded, the battlefield was silent. The cosmic monsters lay defeated, their bodies dissipating into nothingness. The Shadow Monarch stood victorious.

His form was still shrouded in the residual shadows of his power. He had faced the horrors of the cosmos and emerged unscathed, a true testament to his might and mastery.

[Score: 102.3 | Explored Depth: 1st space]

[Golden ticket obtained]

The Shadow Monarch completed his trial. The battlefield faded away as he chose to exit the training hall space, returning to the simulated realm’s lobby.

<| 16th Rank | Shadow Monarch | Shavagi | Male (N/A) | HP: 4.81M / 4.92M | MP: 3.51M / 4.52M | SP: 3.11M / 4.61M |>

<| Talent: 7 Stars | Heavenly(4) |>

<| STR: 5.9K | DEX: 4.9K | CON: 2.8K | PER: 1.3K | ARC: 5.1K | VIT: 3.9M | LCK: 91 |>

Elysia checked the detailed version of the Shadow Monarch’s status screen blatantly and justifiably, knowing the other party would obviously notice it.

The Shadow Monarch’s favorability remained the same, but his MP and SP consumption was relatively massive, considering it was only a five-minute battle to massacre the swarms of more than two thousand artificial corrupted cosmic monsters. He used at least a quarter of his energy reserve just to achieve the fastest result.

[MP +505K | SP +750K]

Elysia was pleasantly surprised. She knew this method was obviously the best. Excluding the portion to self-sustain the simulated realm, she at least managed to secure half of the energy remnants from the trial’s participant.

A portion of the dispersing energy was retracted back by its rightful owner, but the rest naturally dissipated. The simulated realm absorbed and recycled the dissipating energy into something useful for her.

And the result, if she had to count all the students, the result would obviously be far greater than the arduous cultivation and meditation!

"Did you scan me? What did you find?" The Shadow Monarch raised his eyebrow, feeling somewhat uncomfortable when the Supreme Goddess stared at him.

"Mm, your performance isn’t bad. You wiped out the 1st space in five minutes. Why not try entering the deeper space to fight the stronger cosmic monsters?" Elysia asked in wonder.

"I can do it later. I achieved the minimum objective just to secure my ticket as quickly as possible. Now, it’s the others’ turn, and I will watch them with interest." The Shadow Monarch grabbed the floated golden ticket with a wide grin on his face.

"Anyhow, please recuperate." Elysia nodded in reply.

"..." The Shadow Monarch remained silent, but he went to recuperate. He exerted a bit too much power just to clear the task to quickly secure his golden ticket. Thus, he went a bit farther than the other students, drank several potions, and sat in meditation.

"The 1st space at least has more than two thousand 11th and 12th Rank monsters. They have high-level physical damage immunity, but we can deal with them using elemental attacks imbued with divine power. If we can manage the heavenly curses, it’s pretty easy to clear the 1st space. I wonder what awaits in the deeper space." Yuna put her hand to her chin as she observed deep into the space beyond the see-through portal. Another portal awaited at the end of the 1st space, leading to the 2nd space, but she couldn’t see what awaited inside.

"Let’s form a party to preserve our divine power. We can rely on the effectiveness of team formation. I am a support. Does anyone want to carry me?" The Goddess of Spring raised her hand for attention. As a support, she had to rely on her team to overcome challenges in the training hall space.

"We need a team to face multiple waves of monster hordes. I can be a tanker."

"I am a great warrior with high damage per second. We need two more people. I prefer a second damage dealer or a nuker."

"Hey, count me in. I-"

The Gods and Immortals at the 15th Rank or below began to look for comrades to form a party. Only those above the 15th Rank stood confidently as they would solo the training hall’s challenge.

"Yuna, Amy, form your own party and advance to the deeper space. I shall play it solo to the deepest space." He-Dao extended his arm to the side, giving his orders while walking closer to the portal.

"Understood. But, my lord... don’t you want to form a party with us?" Yuna nodded in understanding, but she felt it would be nice if she could be teamed up with her lord.

"I shall fight my corrupted kin one day. So, I need to stretch my body in a solo battle." He-Dao raised his hand in farewell, indicating not to worry.

All monsters got respawned in the third minute. Seeing that, He-Dao entered the training hall’s space, aiming for the deepest trial. Several Primordial Gods and Ancient Immortals also entered to solo the challenge.

"???" Elysia looked at Elena, a bit surprised because it was actually He-Dao’s true body, not his avatar. She wanted to check He-Dao’s status screen, but he had already entered the training hall’s space.
