Chapter 530: Abyssal Gem
Chapter 530: Abyssal Gem
The challengers took their time to recover their divine energy loss. More than 70% of students managed to secure the golden ticket, but the energy loss they suffered was relatively large.
The enemies were stronger than the heavenly demons, and the curses were always more troublesome. Not to mention, the enemies came with hordes and swarms. Regardless of the outcome, everyone managed to gain something out of this training.
"It’s been so long since we fought against that many cursed monsters at once. Hi, everyone~" Katie, the local Goddess of Fate with the nickname given by Elysia, raised her hand to greet Elysia’s group.
"You’re faring better. Your recovery is also pretty fast, but you almost died in the training hall space. How do you feel?" Fortuna received the greeting kindly as she no longer saw this local Fate Goddess as threatening her position.
"Fufu, I didn’t expect the outcome to be like that. Those monsters are sure scary." Katie covered her mouth, feigning her terrified expression.
"..." Fortuna just shook her head.
As a fellow Fate Goddess, the one who could foresee the future, Katie retreated from the battlefield when the opportunity arose. As a support with mediocre offensive ability, Katie formed a solo party only to ’sightsee’ the training hall space, not to challenge any adversary, let alone secure the golden ticket.
"Katie, my friend, have you prepared what I requested?" Elysia extended her hand.
"Uhm, right down to the business? Huhu, my friend Ely is pretty cold these days. Apart from extorting a huge amount of tuition fees, she also forced me to do dangerous things for her." Katie feigned her tears.
"Should I hug you in my arms to comfort you? You received great support from Heavenly Palace, personally assisted by my heavenly servants, and a beautiful amount of compensation just for this simple task. What could you ask for more?" Elysia rolled her eyes as she had no idea why, but Katie was pretty demanding recently.
"Huhu, how dare I request more than I deserve from the Supreme Goddess? Here is the item you requested." Katie chuckled softly and put her hand on Elysia’s palm, slipping a coin-shaped abyssal gem.
"Thank you. I know you can get it within a week." Elysia nodded in satisfaction as she observed the authenticity of the abyssal gem.
It could be considered a dangerous item for the righteous path, and the item was hunted after by countless demonic creatures to improve their cultivation, including heavenly demons. However, the effects and usage might differ in the hands of the right person.
"Uh, truly. You have no idea how much I suffered to find this demonic treasure in the deepest unknown abyss of no return. Even your twenty personal servants barely made it alive." Katie felt a little depressed.
Following her words, the twenty heavenly servants assigned as Elysia’s personal servants looked to the ground. It was an arduous task, but they managed to complete it with no casualty, thanks to the Fate Goddess’ divinity.
"We provided a teleportation talisman and realm-breaking artifact if the situation gets too dangerous, right? We care a lot about our people’s safety, but you refuse to use them." Elysia rolled her eyes once again.
She bestowed them a blessing and two life-saving treasures to ensure their safety. So, the dangerous situation never truly happened to the point of threatening their lives, especially when Katie had already foreseen the possibilities.
Katie was so afraid to die, and this Fate Goddess would obviously refuse to carry out the task if the risk involved was too great. But, thanks to Katie, everything went smoothly, and the abyssal gem of the highest grade available could be secured without any significant trouble.
Anyway, it was still a good result worth appreciation. Elysia expressed her thanks to Katie and her personal servants. They had worked hard.
"So, my I know what do you want to do with that gem? It’s still in a dormant state, but it might be dangerous once it becomes active. You can’t possibly want to cultivate the demonic path, right?" Katie asked out of curiosity, but she broke into a cold sweat when Elysia responded with a silent nod.
"E-eh? You’re not going to cultivate the demonic path, right? Right, milady?" Katie turned a little pale, demanding an answer.
"???" Several Gods and Immortals were disturbed by the conversation, but they were a bit worried because it might be detrimental to their divine teacher if she wished to try the demonic path cultivation. Regardless, they knew their teacher had a reason for her every action.
"We’ll create a more realistic replica with this. Just you wait." Elysia faintly smiled. She then beckoned to Elena, Lifa, and Gaia to go with her. Ai and Zera were ready to help, but they both remained in her shadow.
They went into the abyssal space, the place where the Nirvana Abyssal Demon’s replica would await the challengers.
*Zap*
Elysia, Elena, Lifa, and Gaia vanished into the dark portal. Nobody could see what happened in the abyssal space, but Katie was still wondering about the truth.
"Can you please tell me something more about Her Grace’s plan?" Katie rubbed her hand, asking Fortuna.
"Our master has already said it. That abyssal gem will be used to empower the Nirvana Abyssal Demon’s replica, the great corrupted creature that could rival the Lord of Heaven." Rhea deputized to answer. She remained seated calmly and serenely.
At this moment, Elysium Group members had no task or role to do. They were only required to watch the Heavenly Palace’s people as the spectator. At least, until Elysia finished her duty hours as the divine teacher. Unless Elysia asked for their assistance, they had to wait in the backseat. But, once it was over, they would go for a family field trip, roaming the Divine World as scheduled for some business.
---
Meanwhile, Elysia had just asked Elena, Ai, and Lifa to enter her Elysian Realm. She also asked Gaia for their first fuse, and Gaia bashfully received her turn to become part of Elysia’s power under the God Mode Fusion.
As for Lifa’s case, it was relatively special since Lifa was fused with Elysia as an avatar. However, Lifa’s first avatar held more than 80% divine power of the Tree of Life, Lifa’s true body.
So, the Goddess Mode Fusion was still fine. The crucial matter was about Zera. Elysia had prepared herself to form a full soul bond contract with Zera, binding Zera’s soul, including all of Zera’s split spiritual personalities.
"..." Zera stood before Elysia as she was the last one in the queue. She had already waited for this day to arrive, and she would officially enter the Goddess sisters’ rank once Elysia formed the full soul bond contract with her.
She would gladly lend her power to Elysia’s beck and call, and it was finally her turn to receive her master’s favor.
"Are you ready? This won’t hurt. So, just relax yourself." Elysia put her hand on Zera’s soft cheek, looking tenderly at Zera’s deep violet, demonic eyes.
"Mm, I’m ready." Zera let go of all her defenses, leaving herself under Elysia’s care.
As soon as she put her complete trust and faith in her master, Elysia kissed her forehead and formed their full soul bond contract. She finally became a member of the inner circle, one of the Goddess sisters.
The soul bond was formed like an intricate yet simple process of intertwining and binding multiple lives in a host. Zera’s body soon dematerialized into particles of darkness.
She entered Elysia as a fused unity and delivered her spiritual self into an ethereal dream space, the rumored private universe including only the Elysium Family, known as Elysia’s Soul Realm.
"Ely truly braced herself for this. Anyway, welcome to Elysian Realm, the world of unimaginable paradise." Elena greeted the newly arrived Zera with a smile.
"..." Zera was still confused about her new whereabouts. She could tell that she was in an otherwordly space somewhere within her master.
She already knew it, but experiencing it firsthand was different. Once she formed a full soul bond contract with Elysia, her life was no longer hers, but her master would never let her suffer. It was also the reason why many Goddesses agreed to leave their fate in Elysia’s hands.
"This is the first time I know such a method. Ely literally contracted us like the spirit companion, right?" Gaia was still looking around the space outside the palace. Amazement was not enough to describe what she felt.
The Elysian Realm wasn’t a private world, but a vast beautiful starry sky space, an entire universe belonging only to Elysia.
"Yeah, we literally became Ely’s companions. It’s not that beast or spirit tamer skill, but Goddess Tamer. Do you believe that?" Lifa held Ai’s hand to check something out.
It was still vivid in her memory. Elysia would never dare to fuse with Ai, but the current state was pretty unique. Elysia could already use Ai’s full power, but the fusion to Ai wasn’t even formed. Ai only had to enter the Elysian Realm, just like Elena.
"..." Ai retracted her hand as she felt a bit uncomfortable being examined by Lifa.
’Thank you, sisters. Please allow me to borrow your divine powers as we shall manifest the advanced version of the Nirvana Abyssal Demon’s replica.’ Elysia informed her sisters in her Elysian Realm as she would begin to perform her creation ritual.
"We’re all yours. Do as you please, Ely." Elena waved her hand upwards then sat on the bed, near Elysia’s sleeping spirit.
"..." Megami opened her eyes as her meditation was disturbed by many visitors.
"What’s this?" Ai pointed to the seven floating dark wisps above Zera’s head. They suddenly emerged from Zera’s head and formed a circle to resemble a halo.
And then, Celestia, the long odachi, the sword of chaos and destruction that was filled by one of Ruvoid God’s clones as the sword spirit, one of Zera’s nine split personas. It popped out of Zera’s body all of a sudden.
