Chapter 539: Azure Supernova
Chapter 539: Azure Supernova
"We still can’t find it..." Elysia felt a bit tired. She already held the oracle, but the second-rate star she was looking for still couldn’t be found.
It should be a supermassive star, and it should have been easy to find even though it was hidden in another dimension or separated space. Unfortunately, her luck seemed to have run out.

Elysia checked her own status screen. Her luck was pretty much the same, above a thousand. Yet! Even with such a high number, she still couldn’t find what she was looking for.
"We should bring Fortuna with us." Lifa pondered over it. They only gained a little from this outer space expedition even though twelve Heavenly Agents as the locals went with them as guides.
"What if we ask He-Dao instead? His luck is the highest one than anyone we have ever encountered." Elena gave advice as she knew they couldn’t keep looking aimlessly like this.
"But, we have asked for his favors too frequently. He is also fortifying the abyssal space. Wouldn’t it be shameless of me to keep coming to him?" Elysia rubbed her arm, feeling uncomfortable requesting a favor when this matter could be considered personal and was still kept secret.
"No, Ely. You may have mistaken his intention. He would always be happy to help because he felt he owed too much for our help." Elena wrapped her arms around Elysia’s neck from behind.
She could tell He-Dao’s intentions and feelings to Elysia. That didn’t mean she would allow him to snatch Elysia from her, but she knew he would take even the calamity star and gift it to Elysia without thinking twice if Elysia asked for it.
"Mm, I think our lord will go as far as explore the entire universe to look for this star if you ask for it, my lady. It’s very rare for you to request something specific and of personal importance. All you requested is for our greater causes or just to help your people. We’ll be glad to explore all layers of the Divine World for you." Amy responded with sincere expressions and feelings.
"Hmm, alright. Let’s go back to the marked star earlier. We should return with that third-rate star." Elysia looked at the distant starry sky and heaved a subtle sigh.
In their swift exploration, they managed to spot a precious star suitable for a divine weapon craftsmanship. Elysia marked it, and they might as well bring that home.
A minute later, they arrived at the marked star. The star possessed no consciousness like the universe’s chosen ones. It was a celestial object with a diameter of around 3500 kilometers and a mass of no less than 9E20 tons. Elysia and the Heavenly Agents placed dozens of massive formations, covering the star’s surface.
Twelve Heavenly Agents hovered around the star in a circle formation. Amy asked via telepathy. "My lady, what are your next instructions? Do you want to bring this star home as it is?"
"We need to compress it." Elysia installed the last divine formation. If He-Dao failed to find the supermassive star in the oracle, then he hoped this star would be enough to contain Lady Nirvana’s soul remnant.
"Compress it?" Amy and the other Heavenly Agents gasped in shock.
"It may cause a black hole or supernova explosion during the process. So, please be careful and follow all Elysia’s instructions without fail." Lifa reminded everyone firmly.
"..." The twelve Heavenly Agents broke in a cold sweat. They never expected Goddess Elysia to do such a dangerous feat, but they believed everything would be fine if they followed the instructions.
"Let’s begin." Elysia announced, asking for everyone’s assistance.
She hovered above the blue sun and Elena was ready to assist in the polar opposite formation with Lifa. The formations were activated and twelve Heavenly Agents began to use their divine power to follow Elysia’s instructions.
The process of compressing a mini blue sun involved monumental cosmic forces and advanced divine power combinations beyond common sense.
Elysia took the lead and held the major role. Elena and Life assisted her in the polar opposite, and the twelve Heavenly Agents empowered the compression from the circle formation surrounding the blue sun.
It began with the initiation of a controlled gravitational collapse, orchestrated by a network of divine formations of massive magic circles and hyper-advanced containment fields capable of manipulating stellar masses.
These divine formations placed strategically around the blue sun, generated immense gravitational pulls that drew the sun’s outer layers inward. As the sun’s matter was forced into a smaller volume, its core temperatures and pressures rose exponentially, leading to a phase where nuclear fusion reactions were temporarily accelerated. The energy released during this period was meticulously managed by Elysia and Elena to prevent a catastrophic explosion.
As the compression continued, the sun transitioned into a more compact state, and its matter became increasingly dense. The outer layers, once billowing in the vastness of space, were drawn tightly around the core, creating a much smaller but far denser celestial body.
The process was accompanied by a dramatic increase in luminosity, as the concentrated fusion reactions emitted intense radiation. This stage was critical, as any imbalance could lead to either a premature supernova or a collapse into a black hole.
To stabilize the newly compressed sun, the containment fields gradually adjusted, releasing excess energy in controlled bursts, in the form of high-energy particles and radiation.
The result was a stable, compact star, significantly smaller in size but immensely denser and potentially more luminous than its original form.
This compressed sun, now an orb-sized, hyper-dense stellar object, would serve as the energy-generating purposes and the divine-grade materials to craft an unimaginable divine artifact.
The twelve Heavenly Agents added several divine seals to the compressed sun and Elysia installed a divine law as the final touch.
"We should add some ornaments, and you will become a beautiful and flawless catalyst-type divine weapon. Your name is Azure Supernova." Elysia pulled the sun-like orb to hover above her palm.
It could serve as the power source that Xentia craved, but this was reserved as Lady Nirvana’s backup vessel. If He-Dao managed to find the supermassive star from the oracle, then it would be better because she would have two suitable power source-type divine weapons.
"Huff, uhh... we tried our best, but what’s that? It sucked up more than half of our divine power..." Amy went to Elysia’s side, panting with cold sweat. The other Heavenly Agents fared no better than her, and they were both exhausted.
"Thank you for your assistance. Please drink this and recuperate." Elysia distributed the highest-level recovery potion in her possession to everyone.
Amy wanted to know more about Elysia’s technique to compress the star into a sun-like orb, but she did as she was told and drank the potion to recover her lost energy first.
"Wonderful! I guess, this meets the minimum requirements." Elena raised a high five to Elysia.
"Mm, thanks to everyone’s help~" Elysia held Elena’s hand and they spun around happily.
"Uh, please be careful. Even though it’s small, it has a huge mass." Lifa prevented the Azure Supernova from spinning around so much.
It might be the first time for her to create a divine artifact with this method, and the finished item possessed the highest grade compared to anything she had ever encountered in her life. However, this kind of feat could be achieved only because of Elysia’s imaginary divinity.
"Ah, please forgive me, but don’t worry because it has its own gravity. I wonder if it will be used as a weapon to smash someone. Imagine a thug got smashed in the face with the force of 9E20 tons." Elena couldn’t help but laugh in amusement.
"It may endanger the world. A nation will disappear just because this sun-like orb falls to the ground." Amy went aghast.
"Fufu, Azure Supernova is installed with various magic formations. It won’t fall or cause catastrophe." Elysia pulled the sun-like orb and stored it in her cleavage, putting it in her inner storage space.
"???" Amy and the Heavenly Agents rubbed their eyes. The storage space within one’s body was not unusual to the immortals of the Divine World, but it should not be able to support the mass of a star in it!
It usually required them a subspace or separate world like the private realm to store an intact star, even if it got compressed. But, they spoke about the Supreme Goddess of all people, so it was possible.
"Let’s return now. Everyone has finished their businesses, and it’s time for our field trip to the Heliocentric Dungeon on the Divine World’s 7th layer." Elysia beckoned everyone to hovered close to her. She then cast her direct teleportation, going to Megami’s location.
*Poof*
Elysia’s group emerged from the void. However, Miko suddenly hugged Elysia. Miko failed her task, and she felt a bit down because of those thieves.
"Hmm, Mytia and the heavenly servants will do the rest for us. Those pirates already got what they deserved." Elysia stroked Miko’s hair gently.
"I wish to return." Miko looked up.
"Alright, sweetie. Please have a little rest." Elysia replied with a tender smile. She kissed Miko’s forehead and her plushie avatar returned to her body. But, Megami also wished to return. Thus, all of her avatars returned to her Elysian Realm.
"Is Miko alright?" Sylvia felt that something was wrong with Miko.
"Her mood is ruined. The supposedly fun trading event was ruined by those thieves. I also want to see Morfina and Yae’s talents in front of those immortal cultivator merchants. It’s a shame, but we should postpone it for another occasion." Elysia shook her head she couldn’t help it.
"Ah..." Morfina and Yae were enlightened. They finally understood the reason, and it flattered them to know their master thought highly of them.
"Sylvi, it’s about the time for your divine ascension to take place. After we’re done, we can go for a field trip to the Heliocentric Dungeon." Elysia put her hands together.
"It’s finally the time. Too bad our family members are incomplete. They missed this field trip, but also couldn’t watch my awesomeness. I hope we can record my divine ascension." Sylvia felt excited, but she was reminded of the family members who couldn’t come.
"We shall record it then. Also, we will visit the Heliocentric Dungeon again next week. This will be our weekly field trip." Elena approved the idea.
"Wonderful~" Sylvia couldn’t ask for more.
She then went with Elysia to the suitable ascension spot. After several arrangements, she was left alone as she had to face it all by herself. Everyone stood at a safe distance to guard and watch over her.
