Chapter 105 - 105 100 The Most Evil Existence in the Nine

?Chapter 105: Chapter 100 The Most Evil Existence in the Nine Great Kingdoms Chapter 105: Chapter 100 The Most Evil Existence in the Nine Great Kingdoms Thanos was extremely powerful and generous, as long as you could withstand his madness, you would receive many blessings.

Viscount Leiteman was clearly a devout follower of Thanos, the blood running through his veins seemed not to be blood, but furious lightning.

The Dusk Guard, as the elite of the Elf Tribe, were struck two dead and three injured by his mere two spells, which was already a very formidable achievement.

Amberser himself was thankful that he hadn’t attacked this territory head-on, for a Storm Priest could truly unleash their power on the battlefield, where infantry were but lambs to the slaughter.

The elves lying on the tower floor were quite tenacious as well, quickly scrambling back to their feet and charging towards Viscount Leiteman.

Amberser simply hid on the sidelines, watching the spectacle as Viscount Leiteman vented the anger he had repressed for so long on these elves.

Viscount Leiteman swung his iron hammer wrapped in electric light, fighting fiercely against the three elves.

Every swing of the massive hammer carried the weight of thunder, and the crackling electricity became his battle hymn, singing praises of Thanos’s greatness. Although the elves were more agile than Viscount Leiteman, the short swords in their hands sparked greatly against him, they couldn’t penetrate his chainmail armor.

After two or three exchanges, one elf failed to dodge in time and was smashed by Viscount Leiteman’s hammer, instantly collapsing half of his body, his flesh turning charred black under the flickering light.

At that moment, the guards, who had been alerted, finally arrived and surrounded the remaining two elves.

Surrounded by electric light, Viscount Leiteman stepped toward the last two elves, and just as they were about to be hammered to death, a brilliantly glowing arrow shot into the tower.

An intense explosion followed, blowing a huge hole in the floor of the tower.

Viscount Leiteman, caught off guard, nearly fell to the ground, and when the smoke cleared, the two elves had vanished.

While the guards were all peering into the hole, only Amberser looked up.

The two elves clung to the ceiling of the tower, aiming their arm-mounted crossbows at Viscount Leiteman.

“These elves have truly gone mad, why are they suddenly so fearless in the face of death?”

The thought flashed through Amberser’s soul. Elves were never inherently mad; if an assassination failed, they should regroup and return, but now they seemed ready to die just to drag Viscount Leiteman with them, which was rare indeed.

The crossbow bolts flew, and at such close range, with the archery skills of the Elf Tribe, they could accurately hit Viscount Leiteman’s eyes.

Amberser had no choice but to intervene, summoning a Mage Hand to gently tug on Viscount Leiteman’s arm.

The two bolts grazed Viscount Leiteman’s head, landing on the floor, and as the guards realized the elves hidden above, they fired wildly with their bows.

Amberser no longer paid attention to the two elves, focusing instead on the world beyond the tower.

Another formidable elf archer was hidden outside; the arrow that had hit Viscount Leiteman’s shoulder and the well-timed explosive arrow must have both been shot by the same person.

Being targeted by such a sniper, Viscount Leiteman was truly in danger.

However, the enflamed Storm Priest, far from feeling any fear, exploded with even wilder rage, unleashing his thunder on the two elves furiously.

A mad priest is a mad priest, fighting with almost no rationality to speak of.

Amberser could only help Viscount Leiteman by watching the outside of the tower, to see if he could spot the skilled elf archer.

But it seemed that the sniper had also realized that Amberser was the key, as they did not make a move again, even after the two elves were scorched into cinders.

Unable to find his target, Viscount Leiteman, in a fit of anger, accidentally electrified several nearby guards, causing their limbs to twitch.

When he turned his gaze to Amberser, his eyes still held the thunder within.

Amberser said nothing, offering no warning, but simply sat atop the Golden Throne, quietly watching the Viscount Leiteman.

The Golden Throne hovered mid-air, with Amberser looking down at Viscount Leiteman from a superior position, which appeared very impolite. At that moment, Viscount Leiteman was like a wild beast, and the guards worried he might turn on Amberser.

This was, after all, the Dwarf King’s Envoy; should he be harmed…

Yet, under Amberser’s fixed gaze, Viscount Leiteman quickly calmed his anger, and the constantly flickering electric light on his body rapidly dissipated.

Amberser smiled and said, “Viscount Leiteman, take care, your safety is of utmost importance. I suspect the elves’ vengeance will arrive soon, and before the Dwarf King’s aid comes, I advise you to avoid exposing yourself unnecessarily.”

Viscount Leiteman looked deeply at Amberser, his eyes possibly showing a hint of fear.

He had just used the power of thunder, putting himself into a semi-frenzied state. Under the glow of lightning, everyone else was a mere shadow, and with a single bolt, Viscount Leiteman could crush anyone in his way.

But when he looked at Amberser, he saw a vast black hole, even the light of thunder could not escape the black hole’s gravity. Viscount Leiteman had a strange feeling that even if he threw all the thunder into it, it would not light up this patch of darkness.
