My review is based on the webtoon/manga so it may be different for the novel.Honestly it's refreshing to see smthg new such as this, player summoned as a character in a game played by an normal human on earth trope.The beginning of the story is slow but later it'll get better even if it's still not that fast, plotwise it's interesting while MC is given a clear goal to survive but also find out why he was sent here (NB: He was one of the strongest player of the game before being summoned) in this game where if your character die, they rly die so he need to somehow find a way to let his "owner" play smart and not recklessly.The major party of the story will be about his party going through each stage clearing it with ease at first and later struggling with the fight being longer and following a lore explained by the MC while he's also discovering new thing bout it via a summoned character perspective.For the side character only those in MC party will be developed but the other "gacha" summoned character who are mostly 1/2 stars are most of the time off screen or there just to get headache to MC.The story is very similar to a gacha game with a tower to clear each stage and building to get effect and ofc p2w pack lol.Anyways it's a pretty good webtoon/manga idk novel but it may be better. So def recommend it if you're interested.

I've read to the, at the time, latest chapter of 235. It's a good read if you don't have anything going on but not drop what you're doing when there's a new chapter.First off, don't expect the MC to be alone half the time even though the summary leads you to that expectation. All the reviews bashing the author/story about it is a bit much. Without spoiling it, there is a legitimate reason for Derek putting in quite a bit of effort for his companions. Anyone saying they wouldn't seek and treasure companionship after undergoing the same experience as MC is lying or a sociopath. I will reassure you that he does adventure off alone for a bit before he returns once had his introvert batteries filled. He does meet some interesting and decently fleshed out characters but it remains to be seen if they'll be developed beyond that.The author seems to have created a pretty big world for his MC. Even from the beginning, there are hints of a variety of exciting arcs that's building up in just book one. Unfortunately, there haven't been nay climatic battles or struggles for Derek. He's OP for all the conflicts he engages in. There has yet to be any situation where he's being suppressed by his opponent. Thus, no actual excitement to be had when reading his battles. Hopefully the author will change that soon as he'll have to move Derek to a stronger region or introduce comparatively strong antagonists because of his protagonist strength increase throughout book one. At the moment, it wouldn't be wrong to say a good percentage of the story can be perceived as slice of life.For the format of the story, it's overall pretty good. Great prose with little to no grammatical errors. Chapters length is nice and there aren't too much filler beyond the author’s constant display of ALL of Derek's status page. It's a bit annoying and you'll soon be skimming, if not skipping, past them since the author will mention any changes in his MC's thoughts.

It got boring. The mc's background is that of a ruthless evil assassin that draws pleasure from cutting people up: the way the author wrote his backstory led us all to believe this was a story about a psychopath...which couldn't be further from the truth. The mc's backstory exists only for the sake of providing some early bonuses for the mc, like knowing how to fight, or knowing how to sneak around, or projecting his "killing intent" all over the place like some premature ej*culation. The longer the novel goes on, the more the author's self-insert comes to the surface, because this author has no idea how to write the character he started out with and decided to switch him out entirely. Some people might claim this is character development, but to me, the contrast is so jarring it's like some doppelganger just replaced the mc. The author tries to give many reasons for this change, that the mc was shown familial love for the first time and decided to just stop loving murder...as if that translates in any way, and later on he even claims that nature energy is the reason behind the mc's drastic change in personality...and i truly mean drastic: the mc goes from alleged psychopath to gary stu - he even starts regretting murdering his enemies, feeling that they might have families, he also starts caring deeply about child soldiers and his inner monologues become a crying sniveling fest of pointless drivel boohoo poor me and all this war around me...ugh. I would have been fine with the mc being a kind character from the get-go, it's just that this so called character progression is too damn abrupt...i decided to treat chapter 107 as the ending for this novel, which to me, is quite apt since it could be considered a decent enough ending to leave it on. The overall journey was alright, some cool moments here and there, so i would rate it 3 stars, an average read.

You either forgot the rapes or didn't notice them. Other people in the reviews refer to the rapes as "sweet romance" and so on, so there's a decent chance you simply thought the rapes were hot and ignored the crying, resisting, and so on.Keep in mind, sex starting with consent doesn't mean it ends with consent. They all started with consent. You keep talking about how they all consented, but that's completely irrelevant to the fact that they were all still raped. When she says stop or attempts to push you away, you either stop or you are raping her.I didn't memorize the novel, so I can't tell you the exact situations and chapter numbers where the rapes occurred. I know there were at least 3 separate events in the first 19 chapters or so, since that's about when I stopped reading. If you start from the beginning and pay close attention to how each victim acts during sex, you'll find them.

He asked the parents of the 1st disciple to have her and give them compensation (which you can count as marriage)... So he doesn't force her to be his, and it was her first time (and his first time) so it was bound to be awkward and painful (for her). She is a virgin and would surely feel pain from breaking her hymen... I don't read the novel for quite a long time and can not be sure how the MC dealt with it, but even if he was rough it can not be equal to rape, at most he was insensitive and selfish for not waiting for her pain to go. but rape? That is too big of an accusation. His 2nd disciple jumped on him immediately when he was doing the interview, so you can not blame the MC for her actions and call it rape when she started it and he accepted her advance. His 3rd disciple was traumatized by what happened to her sect, and he took advantage of her vulnerability after saving her to have s#x with her, so you can blame this on him. The point is, rape is a big heinous crime, you can't just attach it to anyone like that, it is okay to call the MC an uncultured ape that doesn't understand women and a selfish bastard who only cares about his pleasure, but doesn't accuse the author of having a rape fetish or disgusting tendency to rape women...You are just being unfair to him. There could be many reasons why the first part of his novel is rough and unsavoury like him being armature, using poor-choice references or just trying to build the characters' relationships from zero.

Hes righteous enough for me with enough cold bloodedness in him to make it worth the read. Story is really good. Amazing LitRPG System, and great worldbuilding. For me, 10/10There are however two things that I’ve seen some people have trouble with on RR:1. Time travel, the early-mid story is interrupted by “flashbacks” of the past. It’s the author’s way of slowly revealing the history/backstory of the main characters and how they became the people they are at the start of the story.2. Two MCs. To be completely clear, there are two main characters, who get an equal amount of time spent on them, one more so in the beginning, which can trick some people into thinking it has only one MC.Those are the main issues, if you don’t like multiple perspectives, you won’t like this. Many characters are given perspective chapters that you won’t necessarily understand at the start.Also be prepared for the MCs to be very different. SPOILERSRyun is a jaded, almost emotionless mostly insane shell of a man at the start, while Zack is a more classic hero - someone who believes in the ideals of the government, and is out for revenge.Most people will like Ryun a lot more than Zack, which isn’t helped by him getting more “screentime” early on. I’ll say that the character development for both has been amazingly enjoyable.

Noah is actually a player who has suffered isekai (yes, a second protagonist). 36 chapters in, so far so good. Pacing is good, not too fast not too slow. MC is dumb, but for a reason and doesn't annoy you in the slightest, there's no manipulations or schemes, just smash your problems away. It's more of a light reading with a bit of comedy and misunderstandings. Language isn't heavy, translation is good. Overall I can give this book around 7,5/10, it's not a masterpiece, but it's enjoyable read nonetheless, helps you relax after heavy reading or multiple agonizing books that you tried to read. I'll see if anything changes, I believe it's a promising read.

I tried to read it, but the author threw the logic into the trash. He presents us with a level system that apparently has no importance for the MC. At level 50 he challenges and effortlessly kills a lv.200 demon, simply because of his passive "Natural Enemy" which increases his strength, without limitation or specification, when facing a demon. I stopped reading when he went to a dungeon to duel against a lv.400+ demon while only being at lv80. How am I supposed to take this seriously? For me this is a comedy disguised as action, turn off your brain and read it, then it might be good. P.S: If this aspect improves or reaches a balance later on, it might be worth reading.

Think of this as many novellas set in the same universe with many different characters all doing their own things. Somethings are believable, some are not. Humans using ak47s to fight wars in the 3000's...and it being combat effective...That's the only thing not really believable.

Read up to latest release (chapter 65). very nice novel i must say. the pacing is very nice, it's like a slice of life without the boredom and cliche chapters. the mc starts out dumb but goes from an idiot to smart in a very nice and believable manner. 10/10 for this masterpiece. just sad it doesn't have enough chapters yet. :(The action scenes are also awesome and fun to read.
I was just curious and got hooked. Great story, character development, pacing is a little slow at the beginning, since it is a robot learning about awareness, but a great read nevertheless.

A really good novel but I am just wondering whether the characters development has gone too quickly he may be slaved but he kills everyone I can accept some kills as it might be better for him to do that but just killing passerby and child when using the drain spell, anyone who had lived in modern times won't kill people when there is nothing to gain even if they became a bit crazy

It doesn't seem like a BL though. Because in every BL novel that I've read the characters always think about the other male characters being handsome or attractive and appreciate and appraise some part of other party's physic and appearance.But here there is no emotional reaction to each others.

Love between same sex is simpler? Like most yaoi are just in it for the sex and body. Thats why gays and gals like it when pretty boys do it. I prefer heterosexual romance, so thats why I feel weird reading this novel.
Hard to enjoy it because of poor translation but it was interesting enough for a few chapters.

None so far. I even started to think it's proceeding BL because theres much more interaction with other male characters and closeness. Female characters are extras, either a subordinate of a supporting character or a spy. No signs of it (developing relationships or love) though, but if ever the author decide to go through with it, I wouldnt wonder how. Hopefully no BL.
TLDR: If you like TCF, then you'll probably enjoy this. They both have similar premises, character archetypes, interactions, and plot points. For context, I've only read like 20 chapters out of the current 56 so this could change in time (increase or decrease in quality) but nonetheless, that's what I'm predicting based on what I've noticed. Regardless, give it a try if any of you guys want, this story isn't one the "turn your brain off and became a brainless zombie" kind of thing so you might enjoy it in that regard too.

The novel is pretty much good. Mc's personality isnt annoying. He considers his every move. He's decisive too he thinks a lot. Compared to MCs who were transmigrated to worlds and became nobles, he's a lot better. Just that he's very sick. One punch from even an extra could probably guarantee him death. So for readers, I think that he's sickly state is frustrating because it stops the story from further action and more fights. His character also has a more mysterious background. Just that the Mc doesnt know Because originally the character shouldve been dead in the middle of book 1 of novel.

This is solid mid novel. The novel is quite similar to "Trash of the Count's Family" with its own twist, you will find yourself comparing the two in many Scenarios. The side side characters hero knight and assassin butler help the Mc mainly because they feel sorry for mc and for the contract in addition it also has its own dragon Raon from "Trash of the Count's Family" in the shape fox named Leo . The background of the world and world building are quite lacking there are some questionable parts like how does the name of a knight of a foreign nation carry more weight than a local lord etc. In the 1st half of the story its the same as "Duke Pendragon" where retakes is noble status and fixes the issues of is fiefdom , but he is Sickle so he doesn't partake in most action scenes . Overall a good novel to pass the time better than most face slap novels out there

I couldn't really get into this novel. It starts more or less with the MC marooned somewhere alone for 20 years, until a castaway washes up and then they travel to the kingdom. The byplay between the MC and the castaway, and then with a young boy at the adventurer's guild in the kingdom as they work together was uncomfortable to me. Too much like a boy's love novel, so I dropped it.
So I read this up till ch. 171 and I would describe it as just good enough to pass time or for if you can't find something to read.
This is seriously an underrated and commented novel. Now im not saying that it is spectacular or something but from the novels that i have read, i think this deserves more recognition. This novel reminds me of wiseman's grandchild or kenja no mago? I think that is the name. If you liked that then you will probably like this. The magic system is similar. There's science involved and the more smart you are, the more powerful your magic will be. While he is slightly less OP as the MC in wisemans grandchild he is still insanely strong. And while he is a magician, he is also insanely talented with the sword. Maybe even the most talented besides his master in pure swordmanship. It does have some cringey dialogue here and there but it's good for the most part. The author likes to mock the cliche moments that would happen in most LN and those would never happen and it leaves the MC baffled. He's not the only reincarnated person in this world. He may be immortal? Im not quite sure. There's no harem, while there is a love interest, i do not know if the author will ever progress it. It's kind of cheap because i dont really know if it can be called love, it's more on the lines of addiction so could you call someone who is addicted to you love? Anyway, i rate it 4/5. Not bad, you can find better. Oh...before i forget, the author has some weird love for food and explaining how to grow it or make it. There's like 2 filler chapters in the first 10 chapters which almost made me drop it. Just skip those chs or skim them, and there will be a few of these chapters throughout the story where the author will just talk about foods or seasonings.

Bro, the novel is very good, certainly the best when we talk about horror, the only thing that surprised me was that most of the mysteries were clarified at the end of the first book (I wasn't expecting it), well, at least the mysteries we know can appear more as it continues the story. I was upset by the fact that the chapters were disorganized, imagine my surprise when I heard that there were not 299 chapters released as it was written hahaahah, book 1 and 2 is repeated.
The mystery, the struggles, and the roles people play as they try to survive the Horrors. I love it.My greatest pain is that this is too condensed and fast paced, losing out on a lot of depth as well as needed and wanted character development and bonding. It is incredibly tense and interesting as we follow through the scenarios they are put in and I want more of it, but at a more gradual pace that let's us experience Carousel and what it has to offer without feeling rushed or pushed towards the greater mysteries involved..... I said a lot when I should have just said I want more of the lesser plot related Scenarios interspersed between key nodes in the Novel, whether it's for entertainment or developing the world and characters in it.
This is the best horror novels I’ve read. I love how everything is interconnected and the world building is amazing. 9/10 for me
