Personally, it got boring. The mc is a dislikable bastard, a lust filled sociopath that will "seduce" the author's favorite characters and collect them like pokemon for his harem...quite literally, since the mc has an inventory that can store living beings - at times, it even feels like the author forgets about people that he kept in the inventory, which is quite funny/sad. The author's story-writing is also not to my liking, he enjoys dropping the metaphorical nuke(or the literal one) just so he can "spice things up" whenever the action in the novel seems to slow down. If you see the mc reaching a powerful level in strength, you should expect some bullshit to happen soon that has no explanation, introducing some sudden crisis that had no business happening. I just felt both exhausted and numb, watching how each world the mc visits just turns to shit really fast ... and the mc? He doesn't care at all, and that's just sad...and pointless. If the mc doesn't care, why should i care? The smut is nice, but even that got tiring as too many different characters led to a bloated harem with a lot of overlapping personalities...in fact almost all those girls just ended up with the same personality - perverts that fell victim to the mc's seduction magic and just beg for his big D. In conclusion, it's a slightly below average read. If you have nothing else to read, you can give this a try and judge for yourself, the first volume is basically the first 200 chapters. Of course, if you enjoy seeing fictional worlds subverted and turned on their head, then maybe you might find this novel above average, or even like it...personally though? I dropped it. Was fun for a while, but then, i felt it was time to stop and move on.
Ah yes The Cursed Gamer, a novel that had potential but ended up in the trashcan thanks to the brainlet author who decided to drop a broken OC into the MHA world (around ch 150-170) just to build fake tension and give some challenge to the mc, slaughtering tons of MHA characters in the process (Oh by the way, Toga gets literally kidnapped, stripped and tortured twice, once by the mc and his maid, once by that OC villain, nice plot bro!)It's as if the author had lost interest but kept writing for whatever reason, sad.
Relying on the comments below is a mistake, this work is quite good to pass the time.

This 4 or 5 stars.I have read around 150 chapters and it's top quality.
I came to read works about the hero and his wife, the sword goddess. But I'm reading about. then the reasons why everyone around just wants to kill the main character.
Alright, so first thing first, this novel is not as bad as I thought it would be. I thought that the wife would be a character that would only show up once in hundreds of chapters or so to pad the number of the words before disappearing from the screen for a long time, rinse and repeat, turns out it is not like that. She actually has a presence in the story albeit a weak one, but it steadily grows as the story goes on. From a crippled, silent, and indifferent wife to a wife that actually cared for her surrounding albeit in her own way as she is the cold queen type (Not the toxic one, just an extremely quiet one.0The second thing, is the protagonist. At first, I thought he would be your average quickly OP protagonist who would barely face hardship because of his overpowered cheat, well he is not. The only cheat the protagonist have on him is the fact that he needs ten times the amount of cultivation quota than the average person and that causes him to have a strong soul that is quite handy in his situation such as strong comprehension ability and strong resistance against mental attack. Aside from that he really doesn't have any other "cheat". He is so weak right now as of chapter 150, just barely the 8th Stage of cultivation (aka the second lowest stage) but that did not limit his ability in any other cases. He knows he is weak as such he strives to eliminate the problem by studying medicine and array-making. His interaction with other characters is not bland, he is not the emotionless protagonist type and actually likes his family, unlike other novels' protagonists. All in all, this novel is actually quite enjoyable. If I were to rate it from 1 to 5 with the latter as the highest score, it would be 3.8.

Honestly for male power fantasy this is pretty good. Total Gary Stu uses his knowledge of Naruto and grinding mind set to get strong quick. Along the way he impresses bitches and clowns on dudes.It sounds stupid, and it is, but it tells a coherent story that moves along briskly and is pretty consistently entertaining. So long as you know what you're in for there's a lot to enjoy here.

I recently read this on webnovel and i got to say, its at least a 6.5-7/10 the writing quality although not that good is enjoyable the mc is obsessed with the grind and will sometimes behave and speak like a gym rat, also he is fairly horny and there will be r18 scenes. I just read the whole thing, honestly it's not bad, especially for a fanfic. I rate it as 7/10 since the mc turned into third rate villian at the start of the "Fourth" Ninja World War. Other than that is all good. I just wished this story focused more on chakra science or whatever, it was the most interesting part of the story for me. Also I kinda hoped mc would destroy the ninja world by creating a kind of sage art compatible with humans thus basically creating cultivation lmao.That said, go into this story if you like delving into the chakra science, reimagination of Naruto (the series) and kingdom building. Other than that, the story is nothing much. The last few arcs def had a major drop in quality but ig the author is tired of writing a naruto fanfic for over 2 years and just want to finish it. It is over 850+ chapters long after all. Overall, read it if you want to read a good naruto fanfic since this is the only good naruto fanfic.

At the moment I have read up to chapter 257. I'll be real originally when I first started reading it I dropped it after 50 ~ 60 chapter because the translation I was reading was just that bad. Eventually I found it again being translated by Chizihn who I think decided to continue after the original guy stopped translating. At least that's my reasoning for why his first 60 or so chapters in the translation are so bad. Which I found improves drastically at the chapter 80 point last I remembered.(Don't me quote this, I might be wrong)Anyways the story really does get interesting after chapter 109 ~ 114 because at that point the MC actually does "Escape Konoha". The one thing that really interest me about the novel which I feel isn't directly expressed and I found really hard to understand at first before the novel translation improvemented in quality would have to be the fact that the MC doesn't know "Naruto". Throughout the story he doesn't have "future knowledge" to hold back on which I liked because for some stories I have read it seems like such a crutch for the character motivations / planing. As well as the fact that it makes the story less predictable.Some aspects or important plot point still happen but you can see how the MC effects theses events not through him knowing the perfect thing to do in advance but with him just being there or experiencing the after effects. Lastly I really like the fact that the MC isn’t actually the main focus. Ironically within the story everyone mainly focuses on the 2 teammates the MC has given that there both a Uchiha and Hyuga. He's more of a nobody to everyone because everyone doesn't know how powerful he's is given that he doesn't have a conventional power set. [I'm not sure how to talk about his "power's" without spoiling it.]I wouldn't recommend for anyone who hates MTL. Even then the MTL is readable at the very least for the first 60 unlike some other novels I have attempted to read. The break point for when translations improve as I talked about previously is the 80 chapter point. If you want to read it I would recommend reading up to chapter 114 I would say that it's really the cut of point for where it turns form a meh novel to a actually good oneAnyways I would probably give it around a 4.3 Stars out of 5 stars. I think that what really ruins it would have to be the fact that the first 60 chapters aren't translated very well, which could have changed but last I remember haven't. As well as the compounding factor that the story takes a slower pace to ramp up / important plot developments within the first 60 chapter can get glossed over with the bad translation which not only stops people from reading further but causes problems for later chapters if you didn’t understand it to begin with.- Also whoever decided the cover art for this site either hasn't read the story or is going to make me eat my words if MC becomes what ever monstrosity that is in that picture.- If he does become that I'll change my review to 1 star.4.3/5

Maybe not sure yet, like Night Edge said there split into two camps. So far in the story the clan in Konoha hasn't been destroyed but looks like they mostly will be destroyed. Though there might be a plot about going back to steal some members before it's destruction though. To be real it really glossed over the other Uchiha at this point in the story. I think they will talk more about the other clan that left Konoha after the clan is destroyed.

I couldn’t get past 100 chapters, everything seems to be not bad, but Mc for me personally is extremely boring and morally weak (maybe it will change later, but I don’t have the strength to read it anymore). Mc henpecked who always obeys and is afraid of his girlfriend (who is a tsundere), I hate those the most. And so, in principle, you can read it, there is nothing disgusting or very interesting in this novel, just an average novel to kill time.

Not worth reading. I read it on RR before and dropped it at about 50 chapters. I’ll just paste that review and then make additions afterwards. I’m 80% sure this is a translation. Nothing against translations on their own but they tend to be of a lesser quality simply because translators tend to not be very skilled writers. To translate a poem a twice as skilled poet is required and all that. The regular jokes about capitalism being horrible got tiresome after the first few instances. Characters are pretty one dimensional and can be summed up by their introductory paragraph. The MC is a genius because the writer wrote 3 sentences and that’s it. The other characters support the MC just because, and it’s getting hard to describe how the story is mediocre without giving specific situations thus giving minor spoilers. Read it if you have nothing else to read or really want to read a Naruto fan-fic that has the MC really dislike Konoha for a very shallow reason. This story is very mediocre, grammar wise it’s okey, the characters are shallow, and overall it is meh. I kinda wish the site required, or even gave the option, for novel posters to let us know if it is a translation. Every character is shallow, never changes, and acts for the benefit of the MC disregarding any logic or how someone would actually act. 3/10. Royal Road used to be a website where you could be sure that the works posted would be of a decent quality even if you wouldn’t personally read it. Now 1/10 works are translations and 1/5 is brainless smut fan fictions.

IDK. Staying away from the chinese translations is almost always a safe choice and it seems like a good choice this time as well. The few that I looked over were not good with one of them being barely ok. I haven’t read many of them yet so I can’t really make many inputs.Edit: Most of everything was not good. Nah seriously from a strictly literary point of view it gets very good pretty quickly, and the harem stuff is pretty well done and don't take too much story-space (btw the way he got Tsunade made me cry, frankly it was heartwarming), and it's not even the main point of the story, the way he played politics against the Hokage around chapter 150-200 was very clever. The writing style is good, more formal than most story, descriptive, not too repetitive, and the chapters are pleasant to read.
Royalroad dropped ever since every single authors did that whole review bot thing. Honestly, the site ui wasn't even that good so I can't even find good novels without clicking a few dozen times. Switched to scribblehub, much cleaner ui and at least you can trust the ratings.
Yeah but Scribblehub has a higher percentage of shitty posters with no section that has vetted content. I can recognize about 10 that post multiple works everyday and none of their works are good. They don’t just post one or two but over a dozen works each so for about 4 hours everyday the only thing on the feed is their shitty content. At least RR has a way larger upload pool so the amount of bad works taking up their feed is lower and they have a decent “Good works” instead of a “Most popular” section.And many writers don’t have bots on their works.

Nothing much to say as there is nothing much to read.The chapters feel like the summary of the plot. It feels much more compressed as compared to movie adaptation of any standalone classic novels.The females are too bored and somehow all of them are connected to the mc who was supposed to be a small time villain.

Honest review is that in terms of writting quality, it's pretty average on here. Story has multiple potential love rivals but its pretty clear it's gonna be a harem. The MC Seth character-wise isn't bad and neither is the antagonist which is just annpying due to his constant presence in the story. Okay power system but would not recommend this story if you're looking for like a powerful story with deep characters and amazing worldbuilding. This is a good story to pass the time while you wait for other novels to come out as long as you don't think too deeply about it.

In addition, the author writes a million Pows, there is nothing stupid with spoilers for the next chapters. why? And the main problem is the breakdown of 4 walls. This is done as poorly as possible. It's not Deadpool, it's just tin. TBH I did love the concept and overall theme of the novel. But, it got old really fast when literally every character around him is a complete a*hole who just look out for their own benefits. SpoilerI mean seriously, his own grandma seemingly working with his nemesis? His dad who made him completely unable to use magic? His mom who doesn't seem to care? Or Heather who is just needy and pushes him around? Not to mention the fact that he pretty much gets trashed in every fight he gets in.

I don't know why romance or harem are so often overlooked from genres and tags. I don't know about the harem, but the romance here is clearly traced when half of the time of the chapters begins to be spent on conversations with his woman, a gift for her, a gift for her, and even a typical violent reduction in time for the development of the character's strength due to the fact that her family wants to kill her right now, but she can't escape and mc must sacrifice everything to save her immediately. I understand that I cannot understand love, but these "shackles" of love make me very, very angry, because I spent so much time reading a book that was thrown out due to the lack of truthful, informative genres and tags.

You don't really need to worry about the rest but what made me drop it is the attitude and iq of the mc, long story short, he exposes his secret trying to act like a hero for his students and I drop the novel.

The drawback of this novel is that there are no pov from other characters, and only focus on mc pov. The story is slow to 100 chapters (I stop here) This is really a bad thing.

I've read the MTL up to the newest chapter (2000) and it's still staying strong, interesting, and enjoyable to read. There were some grindy parts in the earlier chapters where it felt slow and the point systems are a bit wonky sometimes. still 9/10If you want to start: Read the manwha then go straight to the MTLIn general, the TL is fine except for the cultivation realms and some names are funky.
5/10, read till ch 78, good to pass the time if barely.Feels like your generic korean dungeon + system story if you add the annoying chinese tropes of op system cheat, young master appears, belitles MC, gets face slapped. Im fully caught up as of now (Chap 104) and have just started the Webtoon/Manhua. The Catastrophic Necromancer Webtoon is definetly better imo. Whilst it does skip over some things and provides less detail in some parts, a lot of the things Skipped are either beneficial or not important.One of the big issues I had with this novel was how the academy he chooses is constantly described as being for the elite of the elite, yet they are shown as being dumb at times. In one Dungeon there is a turtle boss with a hard shell and despite YEARS of previous challengers, everyone is shocked and surprised that MC mentioned you can flip the turtle over to attack it... this conversation is just skipped entirely in the manhua. A decent amount, but not all, of the peanut gallery stuff is skipped over as well, which is always a plus.Another good thing that is skipped over, is that he is told how important points are and to never waste points on things he can get with money, yet he wastes them on a bunch of skill scrolls - the same level as ones he also buys for money. What he used to buy them is skipped over in the manhua, so it isn't an issue.On the other hand, some things that happen in the novel after being explained a bit beforehand just show up out of nowhere in the manhua. SpoilerWe get a bit of information and detail about the Abyss infiltration in the Trial Tower in the novel, but it just happens straight away without any real explanation and then after its resolved its just ignored as well.Some downsides/annoyances of the Manhua translation is the inconsistent translation of skills etc. But an authors note included references that and said they do it purposefully for "fun". Which sounds dumb to me personally, since it makes keeping track of things way more difficult for no reason. They also sometimes leave notification boxes untranslated, but that's mostly when it comes to spam notifications that are the same - they will translate at least 1 and leave the other copies in Chinese.There look to be some changes as well, such as him buying a Scythe growth weapon as equipment instead of a set of 3 items which boost his Spirit stat. In the novel he buys it straight away, since with more Spirit he can summon more Skeletons, but in the Manhua it shows the set but he says its not useless for him, then introduces this Scythe that has been in the shop for ages that he buys instead, which is supposedly part of a Necromancer set. Though that doesnt really make sense given he is the seemingly the ONLY Necromancer class there has been and it is clearly not something anyone knows anything about, as all of his skills/summons are a shock to everyone, and not even the higher ups have any clue about what his class is about at first, which means there shouldn't be any stories/ideas of a Necromancer in this world, which also doesn't really make sense either, but whatever.I generally prefer novel format to Webtoon/Manga/Manhwa/Manhua etc. But overall, I think the manhua version of this would be a better option than the novel, especially because it's apparently further ahead [though I haven't caught up yet to the same point].Edit: Have read a bit more into the Manhua now and can safely say that it is much better than the novel. A lot of the idiotic things the MC or others do doesn't happen or is skipped and he also acts a lot smarter/better too. SpoilerIn rhe novel when he is attacking the large scale Dungeon for the first time, he comes across a situation where he is sieging a castle gate thing. In the novel he realises that others must have another way to get though it, but isnt sure how and thinks to himself to ask when he goes back. In the Manhua, he realises the same thing, but instead of thinking to go back and ask, he instead just states that, with sufficient power, it doesnt matter. SpoilerAnother example is when he is carrying people through the dungeon for the first time, when he leaves them alone for a section in the novel he doesnt leave any skeletons behind to protect them, yet he does so in the Manhua.These small changes just make the MC look smarter and more considerate, even though they are super minor and don't change much overall.The biggest downside to the Manhua, which gets worse the more you read, is how the translation team don't care about consistency. When it was mainly just skill names they changed it was annoying, but manageable. But now they've even started translating other things differently for no reason. The institute he has been aiming to go to has changed from "Chuangshen Institute" to "Chuang Shen Academy" to "Creation Seminary." The "Dimensional Battlefield" changes to "Yuan Battlefield" etc.

Okay, yup. Although the story is about a biological warmachine learning to be a real boy, the narrative undertone is female supremecy and abuse towards men. The MC shows clear signs of being in an abusive relationship and having Stockholm Syndrome, but the symptoms were present even before he's even gotten into a relationship.It almost feels like the author grew up surrounded by and normalized to abusive female supremecy and hasn't yet realized it.I was thinking that it might be a kink thing but it feels too real. There's no special focus on it. The MC doesn't act like he's specifically seeking out that kind of stuff, not does he indulge in it. It's just a pervasive normality of women being normally horrible and nobody blinking an eye.

Overall it's pretty decent, but i'm dropping it both due to how annoying some of the side characters are, but mostly because the MC keeps becoming less observant and kinda stupid.There are some examples of him being stupid within these current chapters as well, such as taking a dangerous fight (whilst not having a rewind use) and making stupid decisions during it Spoilerwhich is explained away as being caused by the fact that he is addicted to casting a spell and becomes angry and reckless if he doesn't do it regularly. This fight puts him in a life threatening state, but despite levelling up he doesn't utilise his stat points at all despite the fact that they would definetly help Spoilerthey could have increased his stamina recovery rate so that he is able to use Regenerate more often to regain health, or he could've put it into strength to help him a bit during the trial to prove himself. it takes until after he has recovered and gained another level to realise this.In a meta sense I think i understand why the author made him not utilise these stat points. MC has made it clear that currently he needs to prioritise things that will help him in the moment rather than long term. Currently every single stat point he gains he just dumps into Conjuration to increase his MP and MP regen. In that situation, more conjuration would have been useless. So rather than bring it up and have him put the points elsewhere out of necessity, author decided to make it so that MC just forgets about the points entirely until he is in a position where he is able to just dump them into conjuration again. The main examples of all these issues are between chaps 67-77, so will put it in spoilers. For a non-detailed summary: MC takes way too long to notice something fairly obvious. SpoilerIn a fight where he is against a group of Infernals and Humans, he notices that the Infernals have a ring on their hands, when they never have before. He also notices all the soldiers also have the ring on too. The Dryad rushes forward but a sudden explosion under her feet blasts her back. He notices that there are mines everywhere, but that the enemy aren't triggering them. He also notices that his spells that lower the enemy dexterity aren't having as much an effect as usual, and that when his teammate chucks fire blasts at the enemies, they all go flying much further back than usual.For some reason his first thought is that they could be remotely triggered mines. It isn't until his 2nd time through that he properly links the rings to the mines. But even then he somehow thinks that they are contact mines, despite the fact that the enemies are just walking over them. He has to take a ring off a dead soldier and the system has to make him aware that it has an enchantment that reduces weight by like 70% for him to consider that it is weight based. EVEN THEN, he decides to confirm that by chucking the dead body onto a mine, which causes an explosion, for him to be certain.It is then shown that, with the ring on, he can jump much higher than usual and goes flying further when hit etc. but somehow, other than when the enemy got hit by the fire blasts, there are no mentions of them going flying or jumping higher etc.MC has a spell that will clearly help things, but waits until he has run out of rewind uses before using it. SpoilerHe has a spell that increases gravity by just under 50% yet, even when he finally realises that the mines are triggered by weight, he doesn't use that knowledge until he uses up his last rewind. MC makes a plan and decides to rewind in order to utilise it and does so without getting any benefit from the rewind before it.SpoilerHe manages to successfully get away on his 2nd run, but decides he will rewind in order to get more benefits from things by triggering a massive chain reaction of explosions from the mines. He doesn't have much MP left, granted, but the gravity spell only takes 10 mp per second and the last time we are shown his MP he has 7. With his stats it would take him abough 16/17 seconds to regen that. Given that they are in the clear and are running away, he could easily continue til he has that mana back, then double back and try to get a bit of extra EXP. His rewind happens automatically after death, so that wouldn't have been a risk for him. Even if he ended up messing up the timing, or only causing damage and no kills, the fact he didnt try at all and just rewound seems really dumb. Elite soldiers become insane levels of stupid.SpoilerThe king was always stupid and becomes even more so. Of the elite soliders, the one who was against killing the innocent MC just gets killed instantly by the Devil as well as one more of her team. Of the other 2, one just decides to spill the truth even though the Devil has made it clear that he doesn't care at all about anything. They manage to live since the devil decides on a whim not to kill them anymore, but he says that they will go through a week of torture. When it comes to the torture chapter, it ends with one of them deciding to blame the MC for it and vows to kill him when it is literally not his fault in any way. It makes sense this way, since that is how the king acts and they are also idiots who went along with it, but the fact that after 1 day of torture he directs his hatred towards the innocent guy they're trying to kill just because the Devil says so vs the Devil who ordered the torture or hell, even the ones torturing them, is just stupid.The female lead is also just kinda...there. After his stupid decision that almost killed him, he agreed with her that he will listen to her more and she will get involved more in planning etc. But in the main fight after that, mentioned in the spoilers above, she is just...there. She doesn't figure anything out. She doesn't really give any advice or help other than firing a fire blast to protect him from something/someone during a fight like twice. SpoilerGiven that her sister was an Enchanter and that she, previously, seemed to know about enchantments, she could easily have helped out identifying the rings or the effect, but even during their short discussion after the first rewind, there's basically none of that at all.

The author begins to wildly unbalance the world towards his character, as the hero grows too quickly, the author simply throws one large herring and one giant shark behind it. This is exciting for some, but isn’t this just regular auto-leveling? Why not turn the hero's luck to negative so that he has a moment of urgency in everything? Thus, soon the hero will only play with heavyweights, and people will become nothing more than ants under his feet, who will not do anything to him even with Über-guns. But they have explored space enough to already understand that there are creatures with brains no worse than human ones, and even superior to them.There are still a lot of chapters ahead, but the essence comes down to this: by 100-150, people can no longer provide much to the hero if they are not genetically pumped up and then basically serve only as meat. Is the author going to introduce a new, pumped-up race with uber genes and cunning? Or will he continue to feed only on people until the end, never getting out of a certain number of worlds?

He's not really a useless trash protagonist you'll sometimes see in a lot of light novels. He's just starting from level 1 while everyone else is level 50 or something. To make up for it, the MC levels incredibly fast and has a much better foundation than all the other reincarnators once he catches up. He even has a much higher kill count than most reincarnators despite being a crafter.One caveat you have to deal with is that the author loves to make the MC suffer and constantly throws into dangerous situations.

the whole point of the countries summoning the humans and the other outsiders was because from the second they came over they would have 'awakened' or third tier skills which are like a step up from normal skills that are incredibly difficult to get. them being created at this level means that they are inherently at the level of the children of gods. the mc was summoned with completely normal crafting and echanting skills which although somewhat uncommon is completely worthless to the higher powers, they all have their various level nine enchanters or even awakened ones.. not only that but he isnt 'marginalized' he just doesnt get any offers from the kingdoms. no one laughs at him and even in the newest chapters he is hanging out with his earth friends
more like he's cursed with trash magic affinities, which ment in the begining that his enchanting is basically disabled. leveling in this book is a bit diffrent, by which I mean until you fulfilled certian conditions you can only level by doing your job, so combat classes can be power leveled but crafting classes cannot( you can't power level by comleting a craft above your level but you can do so with killing).

After reading this, I had the image of the mommy duck, followed by the baby ducks.. on my mind
Fated To Be Loved by Villains is story about a guy who gets transmigrated/reincarnated into his favorite game. Unfortunately, it's as a nobody named Dowd, who's the son a of a countryside Baron. His system quests hin to go to the imperial academy, and this is basically where the story starts.On the train journey to the academy his train compartment is attacked by assassins who were targeting the compartments other passenger, Elnore Tristan (FL) - who's also the main villainess and End Boss of the game. Due to him, basically being omniscient in regards to game lore, he knows that Elnore has a personal magic artifact to ward off attacks, and as such he tackles her to the ground in attempt to be included in the small range of the magical protection barrier. This however is seen, by the villainess, as an attempt to rescue her to which sparks her initial interest in our protagonist.A side effect of this interest, is however, the gifting of the systems first "trait", which is "Fated" - I.e., he is Fated to be loved by the bad guys, and he is also gifted a "Charmed" trait, which makes him appear more attractive to beings with negative alignment.Unfortunately, our protagonist is as weak as they come. With F-rank in all of his stats, he basically can't even kill a chicken. And with villains taking an interest in him - his death is predicted to be just around the corner. Luckily, he gains an ability to scale his power level from F-rank to EX-rank depending on how much danger he is in. And thus, we come across some funny plot developments, where people think he is either a scammer, or just trying to hide his strength.Fated To Be Loved is a typical Korean webnovel, with minimal exposition, unannotated dialogue, and a lot of the MC's internal dialogue sprinkled in left and right. It takes some time to get used to for newbie readers. Another thing, which may throw some people off, is the irregular time jumps. I.e., some chapters end with the end of a scene, where the next chapter will show how that scene started, and then continue with the conclusion of that scene. It's a bit jarring if you don't expect the time jump, but it also does a good job of creating cliffhangers at the end of a chapter.So far by chapter 26.2, we've been gradually introduced to the protagonist, the villainess (who's also the FL), the Hero (who might be the 2nd FL), and a few other side-characters. Most of the story focuses on the actions of the MC and how he tries to get ahead of the story in order to survive. In the process of doing so, he comes across as omniscient and omnipotent - both attributed to his extensive in-game knowledge of events to occur, but also his cheat ability to scale his power level according to the amount of danger he faces. We do also get some small snippets from other side-characters; mainly from the FL as she struggles with new sensation and feelings of being in love with someone.With that said, there isn't that much romance in the novel, yet. The MC is keeping the FL at a certain distance in order to protect himself, but also to focus on surviving. There is plenty of action and other small comedy interludes, but most of the storytelling is focused on the MCs preparations, and his sudden rise to "fame" after having done a few inexplicable feats.As I mentioned before, the novel is written in a typical Korean way. Expect short sentences, little to no exposition, etc. Translation quality is passable, but Ranobes hasn't done a good job of "porting" the text from the source site - as such, line breaks, transitions, time jumps, are not immediately clear, and it may lead to confusion if you're not careful when reading.In conclusion, this is certainly an entertaining novel, but it isn't groundbreaking in anything it proposes. It does an OK job of entertaining, however, I can't say it's a masterpiece either. For this I'd give it a grade C+ or 4/5*I'd recommend this to anyone who's looking for short read to pass the time, or if they don't have anything else.Happy reading!

my evaluation (B) for now
So far I would say it's a 7/10.Interesting opening and plot so far @Ch61. Main character and current operative seem interesting and it's nice to have a split POV to see how they're both living outside of their interactions with one another. The power system is unique, but not super clearly explained (or not easy necessarily to understand) and it's very different to the regular cultivation novels I might read. Lots of potential and a good translation. I'm probably going to start on the MTL now and see how that feels to read!

I'm on chapter 73 and everything indicates that this is a hidden gem. The book has more than 1000 chapters and from the author's way of writing it is clear that readers will discover the answers as they read. There will not be an internal dialogue paragraph in which the MC thinks about the specific power system or some solutions, generally the explanations will occur during conversations with other characters.Yes, all the characters so far are important, interesting and with personality, I can only say that I struck gold when I was looking for copper. Maybe I'll come back later for another review.Chapter 234 > I can say that this story is still very good, but the MC leaves me with conflicting feelings. As the MC himself says, he is indifferent to many things, he doesn't have a very big ambition, he really is similar to a spectator (Observer of the Apocalypse? haha) and that is a little frustrating. He almost always accepts things as they are, although I don't question it as much, there are times when it makes me angry, almost frustrated. In the chapter he is now linked to a contract that has a loophole that will turn him into a slave in 3 months, but he is very indifferent to this, he himself says that it makes no sense to suffer for something that will only happen in 101 days, but it should live the present. Anyway, his indifference irritates me, but the way it's happening I think he will have personality growth in the future. P.S: The best moments are the MC's interactions with the secondary characters, especially Sword Girl. Another example: The MC made it very clear that his biggest motivation for escaping from prison was Sword Girl, he wanted to fulfill his goals a little (I don't see him as simp)

As much as people are saying good things about this novel. I'm 14 chapters in and we'll over 50% of those chapters are about a supposed game character that the mc is suppose to use to become stronger as the game character becomes stronger. Which isn't really happening. He's suppose to get 30% of the game characters strength, instead he gets a spirit of the character that talks to him, and so far there is no explanation on the system of power in this book even tho the system of power has been mentioned multiple times. In other words I'm completely confused on what's happening in this book and am only 14 chapter in.

The author does not immediately explain the power system or the circumstances. The idea is for the reader to read calmly to understand, because the MC has lost all his memories and is now someone else, so the reader ends up learning along with the MC.I'm on chapter 73 (MTL) and I'm already understanding a little about the power system, creation of spirits and other things. The book has more than 1300 chapters and apparently many mysteries. Enjoy.P.S: Regarding the character's spirit talking to him, SpoilerI can only assume that it is a spirit from an alternative reality, or perhaps this world has already suffered a regression and the MC losing his memories is a result of that. Everything is made clear that the character spirits are their older, updated or complete versions. Anyway, this is also one of the mysteries to be discovered.

Got to Chapter 18. It was decent enough but the way his system acts makes it so that there will basically never be a situation where the MC is unable to do something.At the start the system waives the requirements for summoning soldiers (having a base and the relevant buildings/facilities), reduces their cost and speeds up their summoning time to be instant. If this was just limited to this initial time, then it would be fine. But it isn't.At chapter 18, after he has discovered that a beast tide is about to attack the nearby gathering point where a love interest is, he receives a quest from the system to rescue her with the reward being, basically, a random lootbox. The issue is that the quest grants him an increased level of permissions temporarily as well as the ability to summon a helicopter, whilst again waiving the requirements (having an air field) as soon as the quest starts, not even as rewards. It feels like the system, whenever needed for the plot, will simply waive any requirements and grant him whatever it wants in the guise of a quest. Another small thing, which I'm not sure if it is just how his system is, or if it is translation errors, is that his system just does things as it wants without informing him or letting him choose. In the first chapter it asks him if he wants to summon the soldiers, provides him a cost breakdown and then immediately summons them without any confirmation.The requirement to deploy the MCV (Mobile Construction Vehicle) and barracks is temporarily waived, and soldiers can be directly constructed. The host currently has 1000 initial energy points, and each soldier requires 100 energy points. Does the host want to build soldiers?""A soldier takes one minute to build. Overall, I quite liked this novel. However, I believe that there are parts that become repetitive and can end up becoming boring for some readers. Most readers are here for the system and not the harem. The novel is light and does not involve a harem, but a wife. The racism tag is about the "alien/monster/mutant races", not involving the human races, which are barely mentioned or even ignored, maybe only mentioned in a paragraph at the beginning. The main character is a quiet individual and doesn't experience many tragedies or hardships. He is also someone who prefers to stay behind the scenes and does not tend to fight head-on, preferring to delegate tasks. As the novel progresses, the plot becomes more complex, but this is only superficial and does not require much thought. We can safely say that this is a novel about wish fulfillment.Rank C+

4/5The book is quite good. Instead of a plot, its more of a collection of small character arcs among the witches in the prison. It isn't very exciting, but the world building and characters are interesting. Overall its a pretty chill read, I can enjoy it before bed without too much excitement

This is my review till chapter 21.The story has a slow start but it's a reasonable pace. The story seems to revolve mostly on a the political circle. The MC is young and unfamiliar to the role of the emperor that was suddenly hoisted on him which he never wanted. But he is smart observant. But you can see him struggling to get around in this new role especially considering how he got it in the first place. He can't trust anyone but he still has to open up to some people because the situation he is in , he can't navigate alone. He has an interesting half brother whom I think might be the only person he trusts. They were both contenders for the throne but things happened the MC ended up in . The imperial palace is a death trap for both of them which gives them a certain bond. Overall it's a good intriguing story watching the MC matures little by little where no one expects anything from him

As someone who read through over a 1000+ chapters on MTL. I can confidently say it's a very good novel. There's no golden finger, but the MC has good talent. There no side tracking in cultivation, every new minor or major realm is a grueling step forward. And the MC isn't a ignorant fool either he gets mistreated by the holy sects(the hegemons of the current cultivation world) but due to the Power diffrence he let's go, rather than getting himself and his whole sect killed by a single step. And he's always afraid of him dying and his sect going down due (for the greater part of the story's time he's the strongest in his sect). It can get kind of boring on the side character POV but it's not unbearable.
My advice is to only read this novel if you don't have anything else to read, translation isn't consistent and has many mistakes.The plot idea is good but full of holes.
I think the story is good with good grammars and consistent story but I feel like the MC is just too overpowered, upcoming spoilers - everyone in this world get a special divine ability at golden core stage and because he has eaten a divine fruit he get 2 divine ability even in the first stage and those are mind reading and clairvoyance, it is clearly overpowered because everyone else divine ability is like little bit smarter,little bit stronger, slightly better memory, able to control their elements slight better, and as is in most novel nobody else is going to get any good divine ability even those million year old people living there.
I understand where you're coming from but he literally can't use it on most people because they all have way to block it or they're the same level or higher. At most he can get a general vibe of good and bad intentions. ?

This novel is so good I've read up to chapter 550 and have enjoyed every step of the way. I strongly recommend reading this if you enjoy slightly slower paced novels where the MC doesn't blast through 60 realms in 2 years.

It’s pretty decent, I’ve been looking for a pure sect building novel for a while and this is it. I’ll try to explain the premise a little :Spoilerthe mc transmigrated into this cultivation world and was raised by the sect master of this small sect which used to be a big and famous sect in another land. They went through multiple disasters where they had to keep relocating and lastly ended up in the situation they are in right now. By the time the mc ended up as the sect master, he was 16 years old with only 4 other sect members who aren’t even stronger than him. Luckily, there are some hidden trial grounds that the mc can use occasionally, but since most were destroyed or lost, they haven’t been used or mentioned much ever since the beginning. So while the mc is gradually gaining techniques about all sorts of things like formations, alchemy, etc. from the mysterious trial ground, he has to rely on himself to improve the techniques of the sect. One thing I like about the mc is that he’s really steady, so while not being stupid or overbearing, he’s also not too lowkey. Sometimes it seems he’s being overly cautious but each time it actually helps/saves his life so I can’t complain.. This novel is obviously really slow, to the point the mc has barely just gotten into the next major cultivation stage recently even though he started near the middle of the first major stage at the start of the novel, but that can be expected as the novel has 3500+ chapters. But since it’s pretty slow, it shows many different aspects of sect building including social relations of the sect, the finances, environment of the sect, etc. So it’s not only about the mc’s strength. I’m contemplating reading the mtl now, so while this novel isn’t the best, especially when it comes to dialogue, it definitely doesn’t have any major problems which would cause you to avoid reading this.
But what I hate about this novel is that the dialogue… a lot of chapters don’t even have anyone talking, they just explain what’s happening like a narrator. Like “This guy attacked his son, so the man decided to go and talk about what happened. After many arguments, they came to an agreement. After the agreement, they got to know each other better.” This makes reading feel uncomfortable and bland at times, but because I’m really into this genre at the moment I can accept it but I’m not sure about others
