The review is till chapter 244. I picked up this novel just to skim it through, not paying much attention. The mc is chill, ruthless on the enemies and generous to his disciples. I also really like the first disciple, she is very ruthless and this is what kept me going. The second disciple is shit... The problem arises with the behaviour of the mc and his disciples. For example, they get in trouble and the mc has to come out to save them all the time. They are not afraid to provoke anyone, even 5-6 reals higher (I am indeed saying realms, not stages..). On the latest chapter his 3rd disciple who is at qi refining realm, is taking stance to fight someone who is only a couple of stages till ge becomes an immortal... This is because of how the mc reacts, every time he goes and saves them. He "rages" when one of his disciples, or family members of the disciples gets loses-get's hurt, which ends up with the enemy being killed. One last con, the mc wants stronger disciples which is how he can get more points and eventually level up, however apart from the 1st disciple the rest are only benefiting from him, they have not brought him any points. I am getting the feeling that he is exploited and that's why so many people try to approach him. It is okay to pass your time, just that it gets a little too repetitive and blund on later chapters. Next novel here I come Shit, this is my last novel from this batch...

How to read novels that have not yet been translated? Most of the novels are in chinese, also called raws. We can use pluggins that translate from chinese to english (google translator pluggin). How do we find the novel that we want? There are several ways, the easiest is to write in the browser the novel name. Some sites already have translated the chapters via MTL. I have to inform you, the mtl versions are sometimes challenging or unreadable. For example some senteces make no sense, and even the characters names might change... Got to Chapter 201 and decided to drop it. There are lots of small annoyances which you can overlook at first, but they eventually build up too much to put off anymore, especially given the "romance".In terms of the small annoyances, these are the usual things with these types of novels.He has a younger sister he is constantly feeding rare treasures to, yet she is completely useless both to the story and to the MC himself. He doesn't make the best use of his system - he can copy talents with a cooldown of 1 month, and eventually half a month. Yet within 2 chapters it skips a year without him utilising his talent at all.He, for some reason, thinks that Elemental talents will be useless for him and so basically ignores them all, until he is told that they help in breaking the limit later on.He spends some time debating whether he should fuse 2 elements together or wait another half a month until he can get the remaining element to fuse 5 of them, despite knowing the 5 one will be stronger (luckily he doesn't fuse the 2.)The biggest issue, without question, though is the "romance". She basically gets airdropped in out of nowhere and is interested in MC because she has a soul mate Stone thing that says he is her soul mate...She's the typical ice queen type. A major realm higher than MC, Ruler of an all female sect etc.They spend like 2 months together (of which they are both cultivating seperately in seclusion for the vast majority) and suddenly he starts liking her and she drops her ice queen persona around him basically instantly.Then as they are heading back to the portal, he just somehow is now totally in love with her and decides to get stronger so he can get with her without causing her social issues due to his lower realm...Then their next meeting she tells him to call her by a nickname, then afterwards he comes to her rescue and calls her his woman in front of everyone.The "romance" is literally one of the most forced ones ever, and is written so weirdly/poorly, and they develop affection so quickly for no reason, to the point he starts to include her alongside his sister in importance and then even starts mentioning her name first, then his sister in his own thoughts about who is important to him etc.I didn't even get to the racism part people are mentioning here, but based on those comments, even if your tolerance for these types of "romances" is enough for you to be fine with this stuff, then you'd likely be hit with this racism soon afterwards. It's not worth it imo.

Starts at a village(base) and gain all the talents to the max in that village then go the a city(bigger base) and repeat... nothing amazing but just a power fantasy.I compare it to for example Complete Martial Arts Attributes in the way the story progresses but the only attribute type being talent + can only be used(copy ability) once a month + excluding the over the top comedy + more simple worldbuilding so far.3/5

I've read to the end of the translated chapters and there hasn't been any nationalism at all, also his sister isn't even in it much. If anything it's a bit lacking in plot as it's basically about the MC getting stronger. It's not anything special but it's good for killing time.

Our protagonist of course chooses Hogwart for his school. He explaines that the environment in G's school is not favorable for mudblood students. He also says something along the lines of 'I can take advantage of things in Hogwart, as I've seen the movies'. Despite stating, he doesn't remember much of them. Mc has a panel as a golden finger. It's features are not explained, but after a few chapters (like 40), you get what it can do.Basically you do some missions, randomly generated, but fully achivable in your environment, which give you points. You can opem a gacha with these point and get some talents/items. There is also proficiency bar, but I don't really see a difference, between the time he had lvl 0 spell and lvl 1 spell. If you want to know his good qualities, here are some: hard working, above average intelligence, calm(he is a transmigrator, so it's natural he is calm for his age). As there are good qualities, there must be bad ones too. So I would like to say, but everything he does, goes too smothly. He's got no talent for alchemy, so Hermiona helps him. Some crisis? No problem, I've got god like beast taming abilities, even dragons fall to their knees in my presence. The thing that hurts me the most is his untapped potential in dark magic. Like, he has it a level higher than his beast taming talent. I know, that in Hogwart they only learn those spells like in 3rd grade, but I still don't like it. Had he chosen Grindenwald's school, which specialises in dark magic, I would be very satisfied. His dark magic talent is probably saved for later power ups. He will probably be transferred as an exchange student and get to study at G's school. Still, I hate the author for giving him the talent for dark magic and not something other than that. Altough his transformation magic talent rivals his beast magic talent. But these are not attack type talents!!!Overall, story has some potential, but I don't like the writing.

Ooooh Dungeon master tag reminds me of a recent manga I read which was Dungeon Odyssey
Decent novel I'd give it a 3 out of 5 overall. If the author hadn't decided that every single important notification from the dungeon is sent when the mc isn't paying attention to his phone and the notification gets deleted after 5 min, I would proly give it closer to a 4 out of 5 simply because the mc would be able to make smarter moves and the story would have a more meaningful start.

2/10? Isn't that a bit too low? I feel like the novel could be 6/10 or 5/10 at the lowest. I know the grammar at the start was kind of wacky, but it doesn't warrant enough of an issue to label the novel at 2/10, its not like the plot was trash, and the characters extremely bland and unlikable, they were likeble to be honest.

It's hard to review this with so few chapters (11 atm) but I will give it a try (so this will be more of a first impression I guess...): It's a light academy slice-of-life story in a fantasy setting at it's heart (so far). Characters feel somewhat one dimensional and tropey, but this may be because we have so little to work with. It's very much in the world building phase, but we are being lead along as the MC discovers, so it doesn't feel like an info dump. Still it might be a little tedious to some as there isn't really that much going on at this point as each character is still being introduced.The MC is a calm and collected 'my pace' type of character, who feels little to no need to follow another's rhythm. He is challenged to start his magic carer all over again (transmigrated in a very generic way with no memory) and is forced to adapt to an unfamiliar place and situation. Given his analytic personality, this poses little problem for him as he slowly adjusts.So far I quite enjoy it as the MC just doesn't give a damn about the small-fries around him and wants to focus primarily on his passion (magic, duh...). I think I mostly comment on the MC because, well that's where most of the story is so far.I think that's all I got right now. Cheers.

Actually, this novel is fantastic. Sure, the main character is a bit dull and there's no hint of romance, but that's not really the issue. I stopped at chapter 494 with an edited Epub I made from here. The novel does an excellent job of blending together magic and high-school level science, and it's pretty convincing too. The real issue is the translator, who's almost singlehandedly responsible for the novel's low ratings here. I mean, changing a female character's name from Jenny to Johnny? Great f#cking idea. And even after being called out, they just keep at it!The best way to read this novel? Unironically, it's with machine translation. There's less gender confusion and it's on par with what the official translator is offering.

Reading this is definitely hard without reading it's prequel 108 maidens of destiny. Not because of the story, but because of the power level. This novel didn't explain much of it and most of the info of the power will just be a lines that goes over your head. As for comparing, well 108MOD are much better but that doesn't mean this novel is bad, translation might be a bit confusing but overall, the story is entertaining.
