It's not that he's a psychopath. His personality changed over time, hundreds and thousands of years in which he played different roles. It is difficult to maintain a normal attitude towards people when the same person can at different times be a teacher, a friend, a traitor, or simply die due to a seemingly insignificant change in the situation. The hero notes these changes and accepts them.
Around chapter 1150 the mc continuously plots revenge on guys that slightly harmed him in the past. It completely contradicts his previously established character traits.The further you go the stupider he gets. At one point he finds a guy who he knows us from another world and attacks him for no reason, obviously this fails and his soul is poisoned, but he still acts all arrogant and attacks him again. I can’t stand his personality, he thinks he above everyone else just because he got lucky. Most of his feats are due to plot armour. He gets more and more arrogant, vengeful, and lucky as time passes. I really hope he gets put in his place.

I can see why some of you guys are confused if this is incest or something. The title says about his daughters and the pic has three busty women, so I can see your confusion. But fret not! That is actually not the case!!! This is actually a very wholesome story (take spy x family as an example). The story is about a chill dude (loney dude) suddenly encountered a little girl claiming that he is her daddy. Confused, the mc sets out on finding the daughters mommy, and possibly his future wifey(s). As he continues to find his future wifey(s) and the truth to his daughters regression, he constantly face adversaries and solve certain mysteries while managing a new chapter in life as a father.So far I'm only at chapter 17 and nothing too crazy has happened yet. The intro is wacky but interesting if you stay for awhile. Very promising characters. Very chill mc (or horny). Translation is ok, the content makes up for it. Cute daughter (very fluffy wholesome). Has mysteries so you wont get bored. And lastly, I like the pacing. Overall, 4 stars out of 5. Getting caught up in the planning and design and lore of the game development (especially knowing that it’s based on the reality of the story’s actual hell) as well as the excitement and emotions of the gamers. Brilliant translation, I only actively noticed 2 mistakes in 50 chapters, and the translator does an amazing job at captivating you with their vocabulary.The characters are… well, characters. MC is extremely driven, and while he keeps his emotions relatively on the down low, his almost maddening need to put his experiences out there and his commitment to making quality games in a way that runs counter to the modern game theory really makes him a character you can’t help but enjoy reading aboutThere are (as chapter 50) 5 other main characters, all a part of the development team. The art director, sound director, second programmer, and two art workers. The directors both get a lot of time in story to develop their personalities, challenges, and emotions. They are distinct individuals, which is a sense aided by their own PoVs. For the secondary workers, the two art workers haven’t had too much screen time yet, they aren’t really separate from each other - acting mostly as a “bubbly and overwhelmingly friendly” aid to establish/interact with more socially withdrawn and ‘lonely’ characters. The secondary programmer is the newest of these characters, and is unique enough for a reader to get a sense of a ‘self’ regarding him.One issue some people will have is PoV switching. There are a few POV switches, and they aren’t always delineated in a way that makes them immediately understandable as to who we are following. Some readers don’t like other PoVs at all, but this story relies on them to show the inner thoughts and motivations and character interactions within the group. It’s a tool that’s used well, and helps us connect to each character.Translation however, seems like it’ll be slow. It has quality and good length per chapter, but for long term webnovel readers used to 1000s of chapters I understand you’d be turned off by a low chapter count. It's set at hell difficulty, the highest you can get picked to. From the very beginning, the main character shines. He has some sort of battle instinct and immediately uses mana, though only subconsciuosly. Everyone gets 2 skills, one common and the other "fitting" them. Fitting, because there are exceptions to this rule, and author just mentioned it casually after a hundred chapters. So mc gets his Focus, which helped him in battle and Mana Manipulation, or sth. He is a genius when it comes to mana. Unfortunately, there are other people there. His abilities just suck, compared to what others can do. For example Desintegration skill, which literally disintegrates anything.Anyway, there is this girl named Sophie,Spoilerwho has Manipulation ability. She basically f#cks up Nathan's (MC's name) brain and he forgets some of his memories. There is also the thing, with him not being able to hurt her at all, while under the effect of her ability. Ofc he doesn't kill her, because of the potential benefits, she can provide. If she just died, our protagonist would have to spend 2 more minutes on fighting. SecondlySpoiler, his Focus makes him supperss all his emotions. He gets dissed every chapter. Like really, if you are this strong, show them their places. It only gets worse in later chapters.The author really hates Nathan. He gives him multiple obstacles, in forms of his "comrades". Mc only snaps, after someone hurt the girl (Lily), that has crush on him. He explains that he owes her. SpoilerShe used her skill, Sacrifise, to regrow his left arm, simultaneously giving up hers (she has a healing ability and gets it back in no time). Nathaniel kills 2 guys he just met, and wants to kill Sophie, the bitch who tried killing him, but Lily makes him stop. It's really frustrating to watch his enemies still live, just because of some nonexisting morals he has. At the beginning he appeared cold and ruthless, but later he's just a big joke. SystemSystem is not badly written. There is this cool status window and it looks nice. You can level skill by becoming more familiar with them. Also, there is little to none explenations from the system. Only the necessary things you get from side quest and quest are explained. Quest are generally about clearing a floor. They vary from surviving to killing. The real power ups are generally side quests. You can get them complete while killing monsters and leveling up your skills. There are a lot more side quests. I think as of now they had better rewards, than the quests. OvrOverall the story is not bad, but I started hating the few characters. I also was prepared for a loner MC, reading the tags, but he is just socially awkward. The author doesn't know how to write human relationships. He just keeps repeating same thing over and over. Characters are too childlish and Mc being a wuss doesn't help. I would not recommend it to people wanting to expolre a new world, wanting to impersonate the protagonist, as it would only anger them. You need to keep your distance, to really enjoy this read. Mid novel.

It's rare and only used as a way to show how the MC seems like from others' POV.The start is a little rocky, as if the author is trying to find their writing style and characters, but it stabilizes soon enough.The MC also isn't whiny complainer. They're more of an antisocial cynic, or just observing and emotionally reacting to troublesome things with internal dialogs like most of us do.The story is pretty decent, even if some characters are abnormally hostile and there is some 'movie magic' that makes injuries vanish or give the MC infinite mana lolSeems to be written by an English speaker and the plot isn't swiss cheese, so if you're into the brutal survival genre then this should be a worthwhile read.

The book takes a pretty good look at the Marvel multiverse. I'd even say great! The plot is also on the rise, so it's interesting to watch. Weird MTL edit. The English mostly sounds fine, but the names of things are horribly inconsistent. There's this one rock that has been called at least 4 different names by now. People's names are also written in different ways even from sentence to sentence, like Ning XuanWu, Ning Xaun Wu, and Ning Xaunwu.Overall, it's pretty shitty and annoying as hell to read. The story's also super generic, so I recommend reading one of the others with the exact same setup. I think all the others have a less shitty translation.Edit: I just can't stop reading this beautiful train wreck. This one gang, over the course of 8 chapters, has been called 7 different names. Each name stays the same for an entire chapter, then it gets a new one the next chapter. I think the only reason it didn't go 8 for 8 is that the gang's name wasn't mentioned in one of the chapters. Does anyone know what's going on here? Are they just running the MTL through ChatGPT to get results like that, which is why each chapter is internally consistent, but the chapters all have different names/terms? It was a good novel up to chp 100 then shit hit the fan fights began to take 30+ chapter and the writer just outright adds a new mechanic that takes the leveling system and shitts all over it. And everything the mc achieves through his extreme suffering “ if he didn't try to solve every problem by repeatedly slamming his head into it” the get in a fraction of time on a silver platter.

If you like fighting with little rest or recovery in between for the reader, you might enjoy the way the novel turns out. But for me, it was an frustrating read to catch up.3/5.

Made a review a while back at Chapter 80, am currently up to date at Chapter 257/XXX and things are definetly different now and imo worse. The majority of it is due to the first antagonist, the Ritualist, but there are some issues which are also mostly due to my preferences, which I will just cover briefly first.In my original review I mentioned the "Viewpoint" chapters where you got a bunch of the side characters POVs. Im not a fan of shifting POVs in novels, but these types of chapters were good at the time as they were fairly infrequent, but as the novel has gone on they have just become more and more common. Alongside this, there are 'bonus' chapters which are from the Ritualists' POV. Quite a lot of them are basically the exact same as the normal Chapter, but from his POV instead.I.e. 2 chapters back to back of the same fight between Michael and Ritualist, but from each of their POVs. It basically just ends up with the majority of the Chapter just copy+pasted of the previous one.In regards to these 'bonus chapters' the author, in an Authors Note on Chapter XXX on RR said:SpoilerFirst, you are getting these chapters as extra. No one is forcing you to read them. Second, they are necessary. Even more so for the later antagonists. There is no other way to show things outside the MC's perspective and give context to certain actions and events.Imo if the chapters contribute towards the plot and are 'necessary' then they aren't really 'bonus' ones you can ignore.The Ritualist is the main issue with this novel imo. Put simply, he has insane levels of plot armor. The first time when Michael and Ritualist meet, there is absolutely no way that Michael would make the mistake he ends up making. We are shown constantly that Michael is aware of all these typical tropes and does his best to not make stupid mistakes and he doesn't care about making a mess or leaving others to clean up after him yet Spoilerinstead of just melting the Ritualist, like he does with EVERY other enemy or even those who offend him, he just lets a random soldier strangle the guy for a short while and thats it. Doesn't do anything to check or make sure he is dead, which is very out of character for MC. The author on RR tried to explain it away by saying that he was distracted and didnt want to make a mess since they were in a fancy restaurant etc. But that just doesnt seem consistent with how the MC has acted up to that point. MC literally says:SpoilerOnce you torture someone, better make sure they are dead. No people bent on revenge. Ruth was enough headache and I didn’t want a second.Right AFTER saying:Spoiler“Just strangle him, make sure he is dead,” I said.I just don't think Michael is the kind of guy who would not only choose that method, but not even do it himself or check afterwards.This type of thing pretty much happens everytime that Michael is close to killing him. Plot armor always rescues the Ritualist. After each of these times Michael always feels he lost and regrets it and swears next time he'll finish it, but that never happens. What makes it worse imo, is that when it comes to the Ritualist POV he ALSO thinks he lost and swears to be stronger and defeat Michael.It has gotten to an insane level lately where some random new character has appeared and who, despite his plan being to send the Ritualist off to his death, he ends up helping him to an INSANE degree Spoilergets him an extremely good skill, gives him monster knowledge, hybrid knowledge, a new territory to take over as well as protection to get there etc.Some comments on RR said that the Ritualist basically has an aura of idiocy around him which affects anyone he comes into contact with, which is very true imo.I think if I hadn't kept up with this from early on, I would have dropped it either once the other POV chaps started up, or during the first meeting between the Ritualist and Michael. The main reason I've continued on was due to having interest in the MCs story and sunk cost tbh. But I think it may be time to stop. I am still interested in the MC and the story behind the Systemic Lands, but I'm not sure if that is strong enough to ignore the issues for me anymore.
The second the mc left the ritualistic to be strangled instead of melting him himself or even atleast cutting his throat or knifing his heart was when I stopped reading. That kind of stupid cannot be read. I mean after he melted random people for stupid reasons, leaving someone who stole most of the city’s cash reserves alive like that was too much.

Mc is a good person inside but stays neutral at times. Power progression is slow, but it fits the novel. The mc isn't gonna be fat for long and doesn't think like a fat person either if you're wondering since that was a concern to me at the beginning. This is a top tier novel in my books, the depth of character for a novel is great, characters feel like they're real people especially Michael. The imperfection of his character as a person and the choices he makes make the novel feel real. It felt very tedious to read this novel at times because I can relate to the people in the story. This novel is different and might feel repetitive after chapter 50 to some. It's very different from the typical novels on this site, a lot of other novels feel like copy and paste novels when you put them side by side with this one. I had to drop at around 200 because the mc is too nice and loathes human experimentations, he has too many boundaries that he's afraid to break even though he's very bold, his character is somewhat contradictory. anyways this novel is not for me, but I feel like it would be someone else's favorite soon so give it a chance

That's completely wrong, obesity itself is an illness. There was a study done to prove this. On two identical twins, one being obese and the other normal size, gut bacteria was taken from the obese twin and implanted into one rat from a set of identical twin rats. The result was that the rat that was implanted with the bacteria also became obese after having that bacteria even though both rats were consuming the same number of calories.But going back to my earlier comment, I was saying that whether your fat because of eating or whatever reason there might be. The increased difficulty of movement for a fat person encourages lazy habits. I'd also imagine fat people think differently because of the discrimination they face. It would affect their self-esteem and mindset. When i wrote "illness" i meant situation when person do everything right (calorie control, physical activity, gym) and still get more weight or don't lose it. So when i wrote about "lack of movement", it was about situation when income and consume energy not balanced and excessive get stored but it can be loosing with increasing energy consume.How much excessive weight we are talking about? +30 kg or +100? I give up (chapter 27). The MC is literally mentally ill, he has a fcked up episodes of hallucination that are essentially first 8 chapters. SpoilerThe world he is in is one with immortals. He is in a small "sect". Badically, there is an old guy who practices immortal way, there are also 6 disciples and the rest, which is some crippled people, is materials for pills. Our glorious main character starts off as a pill material. As I already mentioned above, he lives in a world in his head and is just insane. It only makes me think that he is mentally weak, because that's the only thing that comes to my mind after hearing of this attempt to escape the reality. He is an idiot that burns potentially useful scriptures just becsuse he wants to start a new chapter in his life. Surprise, after burning the books, and who know what else, down he decides it's a perfect time to stop taking my med that was keeping me down to earth! He tries to run away from all his problems that are solved.
