The first 12 in a half chapters are something you can skip if you want. They are a quite boring and it is all about "woe is us" (life sucks) and the dissolution of a college that focused on ancient cultivation. The fist 12 chapters really make you want to just drop the LN if they don't turn around this negative story fast. But there is a change that happens at the end of chapter 13 that puts a positive direction to the LN. You won't really miss out on to much by just skipping to the 13th chapter.
20 chapters in and nothing has made me want to continue reading, also something about the way the novel is written/translated is so boring

Honestly it’s been really good so far, there’s no romance yet so for the people put off by the harem tag thinking this is another one of those Pokémon gotta catch them all type, dive in without fear. I don’t know about the future but I doubt it will go down that route since the MC hasn’t shown to be lusty at all. He’s dedicated to martial arts. This isn’t one of those fast cultivation novels where the MC pops pills and speed runs through the realms. In fact so far there isn’t even any concrete realm division. The way to judge his strength is through the body technique he is practicing, like stage 1 to stage 13. But we do know that there is a realm called grandmaster, just not the specifics of how they judge if you are a grandmaster. For those worried that the cultivation is painfully slow, it isn’t since he can enter this special realm filled with special substance, also a few minutes in reality feel like several years in the realm, so the MC can practice the technique in that realm for years, and the special substance transfers that progress to his real life body. At least that’s how I understand it. Of course he can’t enter that special realm anytime he wants, he needs to enter a special state where he can sense that realm, and thereby enter it. Later he finds items filled with the special substance in the real world which can help him enter that realm.
I wouldn't call everything with harem as trash, some novels like shrouded seascape has taken care of it pretty well without affecting the novels flow.

And then there's webnovel reviewers whose reviews consist of "This book's character doesn't fit the exact archetype and personality that I want, and that is also coincidentally the exact same personality of the MC in the 5 previous books I've read; therefore, it is garbage."I wonder if they'd have an aneurism if they read any professionally published books that have, *gasp*, characters with personality flaws who make mistakes and run into problems that they sometimes can't solve.

I would not recommend reading this. Pretty much everything about this is not good. The biggest problem is that the entire premise of the novel is the MC being reborn in a stupidly nationalistic Korea and it shows. Every chapter has some sort of nationalistic politics added to it. There is so much that I could write but I can’t without spoiling it so I won’t. Language: 5/10. Just by reading the sentence structure, grammar, pacing, phrasings, etc... you can tell it is a translated work which means it wasn’t a good translation. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and it is on par with a huge number of translated works, but it becomes annoying to read after a bit.World Building: 3/10. Somehow Korean culture is dominating the entire world, the setting of the story is somehow a Korean island (when there are 2 other nations that are equal distance from the island), and half a dozen other flaws which boil down to the novel being extremely nationalistic. Plot: 5/10. I read about 30 chapters of this novel and the plot is barely noticeable. The MC has a mission to seduce powerful female heroes but that hasn’t even begun to happen yet. It seems like it is going to be mediocre based on what has been said so 5/10 seems appropriate.Overall: 3/10. I would highly recommend against reading this. If you read this and genuinely enjoy it then there is something wrong with your head. It isn’t the worst I have ever read but I wouldn’t have read it if I wasn’t extremely OCD about finishing something I started or at the very least undeniably confirming it isn’t worth continuing. Don’t read this novel.

And the world building how to say... it's not detailed enough it's like the author left the back scenes for us readers to imagine ( not like I'm not used to it ). That time I summoned an otherworldly eldritch horror while trying to find a good webnovel to read.
I'm caught up up to book 5 I believe. This one is very good, it's slice of life with some action and adventure. There's also mystery, some suspense, and few other things mixed in as well because there's depth to this story. Some political intrigue, some mind blowing and/or horrible use of magic as well (imagine nuclear bomb/tsunami level disaster but magical). This is pretty good and definitely worth checking if you are a fan of fantasy, isekai, magic crafting, progression fantasy, and/or slice of life.The only warning I'll give is that the MC is bi. There is NO romance between guys BUT since the MC is bi, there are some physical description of both men and women in a sexual fashion. (it's not in poor taste tho and it happens only when it makes sense)I don't really read yaoi or bl and I never had a problem with this title regarding that aspect (and it is seldom, it's not even 1% of the story) but I know there are people out there that are very sensitive to this that even a physical description about a guy's muscles or how great looking they are can leave them with a bad impression so it's better to just tell them outright than have them encounter some passages like that and give a bad review.

She doesn’t become instantly OP, everything flows quite well, and in general it is enjoyable and calming.As a note for those who are dissuaded by the Futa tag: it’s technically futa, but in reality it’s more just that the entire species have enlarged breast sizes, including the men. Average human males have objectively flat breasts, considering it’s just the muscles there, but Runalymo men just have extra medium boobs. Treat it as if they’re not there and nothing changes.Edit: As of Chapter 118, since it's on RoyalRoad, imma go there to read and comment to support the author. Will still be on ranobes for other novels that I can't read without paying for, or for novels that have been stubbed, but if it's on a free site I want to be able to support the author through the ad revenue and all that.
top tier character growth and world building, this story legit made me love the characters although some parts of the novel get boring powering through them and getting past the information dumping arcs makes the whole novel so much better i really love how much thought is put into the world and power system honestly im shook and impressed the author created this
Dropped it (CH.7), as the MC is already too op for me, and it is just no fun to read further. There is just no real struggling, as much as I can see it, even though the MC is a baby right now. But when I read that he already got some insane op artifact, I was insanely bored with how his future would be. I really don't like "OP MC," and this just screams it (The same is for blessings and that the goddess is basically looking over him).
The best part of this is the Magic system, It's pretty intricate and well built, the world building is great too, It's not one of those novels that have a system just because, it builds everything into a coherent whole.
I agree the system in this is innovative enough to improve any novel with a mediocre plot and world building to a really good one, gladly this one is above average in those fields maybe i dont enjoy so much the MC until now but that is just nit picking.The system get a little out of hand with the wall of messages at some point and that can break your focus in the story a price for consitency that is questionable if it is needed to be paid.Overall, is good shit go for it

It's decent, but has lately leaned heavily into the trope where the MC gets pushed from one thing to another all the time without any chance to breathe or utilise things properly.This happened since the start, but lately its become super noticeable and way too common. On a trip to complete a Sect mission he took, he gets randomly sucked into a space vortex and wakes up in a forest/garden pocket Dimension, then fairly quickly after that is forced out into a dessert and now he's managed to find an oasis. He is constantly surrounded by much stronger people who just force decisions on him.His Sect thinks he is some genius talent that van get stronger through fighting, which is technically true since he gets EXP and stat points he can then assign. They are worried that the imperial family will discover him and either poach him or kill him. But instead of putting him in an environment where he can fight to his hearts content or something, they send him back to a city which has a branch of the Imperial family there. And they send him with a senior who has been and is still being courted by the Prince in that area...then they arrange things so that one of the princesses join him on that journey to complete the Sect mission since that will ensure protectors for them, but they don't bother telling MC to hide his talents. Of course this doesn't matter anyway since they all get sucked into the space vortexs when they've barely started the journey and they didn't have any help from these protectors.He can increase stats both from eating special fruits/meals as well as with stat points, but eating them (as well as taking pills) increases his level of impurity which, if it reaches level 2 he gets a debuff which decreases EXP gain by 10% and we are told that if it gets high enough will cut off his path towards the higher realms entirely. Yet he has a medic by his side who seems to be able to fairly easily force these impurities to be cleansed...yet he doesn't take advantage of that when he can. There are other small things that don't really make sense throughout. Like he gets his system in Safe Mode at the start because of soul damage which he needs to reach level 10 to repair, but upon reaching level 10 and unlocking the full system he is told that the tutorial is unavailable after level 5.He can't use features like an Inventory, Mini-Map etc. Because he needs insight into the relevant Daos (like Space for Inventory) which makes sense, yet he can use Observe and Detailed Observe on most people with no issues. Even weirder is that he manages to get an insight into the Dao of Perception, but because of his lacking cultivation the system removes it and then he almost dies from it.Some of the things are thought out well, like the Inventory requiring insight into the Space Dao, as well as trying to explain why these cultivation MCs are typically so nonchalant about killing people, since he is always stressed and angry about being surrounded by stronger people who force decisions onto him which he can't really refuse without risk of being crushed like a bug etc. But the things above kinda make it a bit too annoying for me I think.If you don't mind these things, then give it a try.
I am incredibly annoyed by the fact that the main character enhances anything but combat characteristics. Strength, endurance, dexterity seem to be forgotten, or the author deliberately stretches to write more useless chapters. luck and spirit can be increased in the later stages, but in order to remain vulnerable, the character does not increase them. and the system is also ramming. Why doesn't he eat fruits that increase stamina. why wasn't he maxed out at every level? . this infuriates me. If nothing changes, I'll leave this shit

- 53 chapters out as of writing this. In short, it's garbage. A lot of named characters of low (or none at all) importance to the story that add unnecessary fluff. Author really lingers on some of them too. Chapters are padded out quite a lot in general. The world is also quite unresponsive towards this "evil". Heck, an important wizard acts weird and later croaks with the whole hamlet following his footsteps yet it's the songs of some bard that stirs interest toward the place? C'mon... The "dark" atmosphere (the supposed focus of the work) - a complete miss too. People die and are greedy, now what? I guess the side characters were supposed to convey the "darkness", but most of the time they just conveyed stupidity.

I didn't succeed in finding anything interesting in the 7 chapters I read, it was just darkness and death but in a very boring way.
This novel is solid, i think that the way it was aproched very realistic, this is like the best evil story, the writing is great and really imaginative, the mc is really really evil soo if you dont like go away. The aspect that i like is his transformation to a simple unconcious mist into a force of evil in the world, i hope there are more chapters, this novel is dark but if you dont care go for the taking! Also the mc has no feelings only do stuff for his own achieviments born of reveange and will to make what we wants eventually becoming a lich and metodically realisticly using what he got to avenge those who are traitors and do not follow his rules in a plan for domination, calculating his surroundings to not be discovered and do whats beneficial for him, greedy and powerhungry but calculating. Best novel of evil lich spirit stuff i ever seen 10/10.
I just finished the RR so I'm going to do a quick review. For those who want to wait more chapters I don't recommend (Slow updates), this novel has a lot of words so if converting to a Chinese junk food novel I would say it would be at 250 chapters. About the MC and the story: The MC dies and becomes a "ghost" with an obsession, which in the case of the MC is gold and death, don't expect much character development, besides learning from your mistakes and becoming smarter, the MC is a one-dimensional character who can only be described as greedy and that's it, he's driven by lust for gold and death. For those who like gore and villains this story is for you, the MC is pure evil, he doesn't even consider doing good deeds even if it's beneficial to him, things like rewarding subordinates doesn't even cross his mind. The world is that standard medieval one, with wizards, gods and churches, and we're following the MC's journey from a mindless ghost to godhood (I think) while trying not to be discovered by the gods and wizards. Wow. Just amazing so far. This novel is ... strange... but so good. No info dumps, the story is told and we are learning about the world as the MC encounters it. Writer is one heck of a professional, a genius.The world seems to be some sort of dark sorcery thing crossed with cyberpunk. Fetishes, talismans, corporations, AI, flying carpets instead of taxis, half magic half cyberpunk drugs, that sort of thing. The MC, as told in the summary, was a slumrat who wanted to cultivate to break through to lvl 1, pass his SAT, and get a job with the local big corporation to get his brothers and sister out away from their parents and out of the slums. That story itself was simply amazing as the intro - especially with the breathrough and killing of a swarm of ghuls that creep around in the dark as one of the dangers of the slums.He does his time in the army, rated a combat savant, then goes to work for that corp as a security specialist. Think of a mix of bodyguard, SWAT, Navy Seal, and Starship Trooper (amazing novel) clad in high tech/rune covered armor. Thus the story, worldbuilding, and adventure continues.MC isn't very smart. Or good looking. The only talents he has in maintaining talismans and some sort of ultimate genius of combat and any weapon system he touches. I don't want to reveal more spoilers, so nuff said on that. Personality? Unassuming, quietly competent, highly disciplined. A silent type with self esteem issues, mostly because of his origin and parental abuse.Side characters? Not a lot in the beginning, they're there in his work - his sergeant, captain, ect. Not real in depth, his job has a lot of missions that take him away for days to a week or 2. Bodyguard someone, slaughter a building a cultist slavers while leading a team, and so forth. Then something happens and there are more permanent side characters, with a neat plot twist and "oh $hoot, no way" about the world. How cool is that lao tzu didn't see that coming?The descriptions of battle? Oh man... GREAT. Think of the novel Starship Troopers. Think of the Wheel of Time where Rand, or his father Tam in the last battle sank fully into the dance.If you're wondering if you should read it, think first of how disappointed you're going to be when there's no more chapters available yet.

It's quite complex and confusing, as the author focused a lot on the mystery in the initial chapters, which if you're a beginner reader you probably won't read, even for me who's been reading for a long time it's confusing, it's lot philosophy lol.The positive part is that if you manage to get past the beginning, you will be pleasantly surprised because the author is building a beautiful world setting. That's just my point of view of the novel.

One of the best world building.the world is set in modern-slightly futuristic times but everything works on magic, demon, angels, and gods and its shows. The best part nearly nothing is wrote how humans get to this point of technological advancemnt but you can clearly imagine it and how fck up some situations could be at some times.I dont know if the author study theology or something like that but the religion is way deeper that "belive in god, whatever the god is in charge of follow it somewhat and all guci".the power system is mostly cultivation where every lvl give you spell slot and once again everything works on magic,devils,angels and gods even spells and cultivation and once again the spells have thoughts behind them.Mc is peticuliar because the enviorement and other stuff he have problems and the problems in my opinion are little too much of a focus.I dont know why this have satire in the tag here maybe my idea of satire is different but I would never put this tag for this novel.overal 9/10 novel really recomment big plus is that author is consistent to the minute and patreon is 20 chapters ahead for like 2 euro.

Very nice fanfic. Author used his otaku mind to fill the gap that until now Naruto fans are left hanging. Fanfic but it really will madesense. SpoilerExample Ive always felt that Sarutobi Hiruzen is a very bad hokage when I was younger because of how Naruto was brought up. Higher ups know his parents contribution but why did he live a complete miserable life as a kid. He lived in poverty and malnutrition and rejection (understandable). I never liked the hokage when I realized that. This novel will give you another side of him, a fanfic reason of his actions and how he rise to power. I like the lowkeyness of MC but has the means to act in the dark. Its just that he's getting involved too much that would completely change the Naruto story before Naruto even gets born. Sadly that it doesnt have enough chaps. And mtl is unreadable

Overall it’s really good, the pacing is the right amount for a Kingdom building story. The grammar is on the higher end compared to others of the genre; however the author’s prose is somewhat workmanlike and while it doesn’t take away from the story it doesn’t significantly improve it either. The action is also realistic, the plans hatched by the mc don't always go his way. Lucan also isn't an overly OP Mary Sue. Things are grounded and down to earth, which is something we don't see nearly enough of in this genre. Having someone who is both native to their world and not obviously "the chosen one" at the helm is a good change of pace.With proper development, to build on its solid foundations, and an earnest lead this novel has great potential that many will enjoy reading.

This definitely a underrated novel. The chapters take a while so it's quite slow but definitely enjoyable. It's basically a story of out Main character coming of age(unlocking his blessing and approaching adulthood) and his attempts to improve his noble families lands, which is where the kingdom building comes in, grow stronger, and deal with the various conflicts that come with his undertakings and position as a noble. I love the fact that the system status sheet kinda thing isn't used in the kingdom building and the main character is actually governing the land like giving orders and discussing with his father and their aides how to go about their plans. Not just that the power/skill system is really nice and theirs plenty of cool world building and history in the story as well as actual politics. The characters are also very nice and have depth. Not just that but the author includes plenty of combat and action in the story and writes fight scenes very well. I CAN NOT understate how impeccable the writing quality is of this novel is so honestly just read the damn thing already.

He has a system that is super op, but author decided to time skip 2 years, his system allows to do a life simulation every 7 days, and whatever 3 items (usually best ones) will appear at the end, and he can pick one of them. That means that he can see the future, so next time he doesn't die at the same thing. Somehow mc hasn't become GOD yet. And author skipped 2 years. For every week on those 2 years he could get something heaven defying. The mc is a adult human that has reincarnated but his thinking process is like a kid. He says one thing in one chapter and does the opposite on the next. The mc is also one of those f#cking justice guys, that will need to help or do something, because he can not stand aside to watch. Disgusting novel. For people that like smart protagonists, this is not for you. I wish I hadn't seen this novel. All this is till chapter 12.

If somebody is searching for a dark or at least unfeeling mc this is not for you. Also there are some big plot holes in my opinion. If you have not seen Naruto then you can read it and enjoy, probably. I read till chap 80 and I already gave it a lot of chances just because of Naruto fanfic, but again the plotholes
A very fun read. Too many times I had to hold back laughter. The MC is smart and it is very entertaining to find out how he will solve the impossible tasks. The character intersctions are interesting and the MC is not afraid to change the plot.
It's pretty good. The biggest problem is it's Naruto, but Chinese. Chinese Young Masters, Chinese idioms, Chinese crap everywhere. Hell, they even use Taels as the currency! Talk of cultivation (which isnt inherently Chinese, but it basically is), Medicinal herbs and baths (again, not 'technically' Chinese exclusively, but it basically is). I love Chinese fantasy, but i dont like when Chinese cliches are shoved into other cultures stories (Imagine MCU but all the characters act like Chinese fantasy).Overall, it has it's funny moments. Just wish it would stop forcing other animes and stuff into a Naruto story.

Let add something to this some Chinese author do put effort in there novels I’ve read my fair share of novels, and some of my favorite are Chinese cultivation novel. (Buddhism predates Hinduism as a whole, but is considered a main tenet of the religion which came from then Indus River civilization and during the east ward expansion of philosophy, trade, etc reach the yellow river civilization)
