Chapter 436: Mischievous Devil’s Prank

"Milady, we’ll check out something. There’s something that’s bothering me." He-Dao sent a voice transmission while pointing his thumb in a particular direction.

"Mm, please be careful. Also, you should call me by my name only. No milady or Goddess Ely. You may call me Elysia or Ely." Elysia wasn’t worried if He-Dao would get hurt because his divinity was so high that nobody could harm him in this world.

It was the opposite. She asked him to be careful in using his power so as not to break the world laws because Vrelenia couldn’t withstand his full power.

"Erm..." He-Dao rubbed his head, feeling it was a bit impolite considering Goddess Ely held Supreme Power as his savior.

Even though Goddess Ely would be reincarnated as a newborn baby, she still held a higher status regardless of whatever condition she experienced. Not to mention, due to his profound respect for her, it made him a bit uncomfortable to call her without honorifics.

"You can’t?" Elysia put on a pitiful expression.

It would be an inconvenience if He-Dao and his people kept calling her milady or Goddess Ely all the time here, but fortunately, He-Dao complied with her request.

"Alright. We’ll be back soon, Elysia." He-Dao raised his hand in farewell. Even though he still felt a bit wrong, this change put his relationship with Elysia one step closer.

He-Dao and his Heavenly Agents immediately vanished into thin air, going somewhere thousands of miles away to check on something that was bothering him.

It was a polluted river close to the newly purified capital city of ruin. After Elysia’s greater purification, that city’s downtown area was freed from any kind of contamination.

Plants of various colors began to grow, indicating that life was gradually being restored. Several purple and blue flowers could also be seen blooming around the ground where Elysia had stepped on previously.

He-Dao observed that city from the sky in the distance, but his focus was soon drawn to a particular polluted river below.

He beckoned to Yuna and Amy to cooperate with him to capture a particular creature lurking around the polluted river.

"Huh, what the hell was that? That pure energy almost harmed me to oblivion." A mermaid-like water demoness crawled out of the polluted water.

She returned to her base in that destroyed city after a patrol, but what she found was the purified area with pure energy lingering everywhere, harming her kin when they entered the city of ruin.

However, some people’s shadows soon come from nowhere, casting odd shade.

"!!!" The water demoness gasped in surprise as she couldn’t sense those people until just now! "Who are you?! Wait, is that what you are doing? Humans and devils are getting trickier every day. Unfortunately, your trap failed to kill us."

"Yeah, too bad." He-Dao nodded in agreement. He never expected that the abandoned capital city would be occupied by the water-type demons, but he felt a bit suspicious about this mermaid-like water demoness. This one might be one of Oceanid’s avatars, or maybe clone creations.

"But, how brave of you to intercept us here. Are you a suicide squad? Should I squeeze you dry, or should I devour you whole, handsome? Hmm, these juicy girls are also good. They would be perfect sacrifices~" The water demoness licked her lips as she observed three delicious prey presented before her.

"Too bad." He-Dao sneered and reached out his hand to grip the cocky demon’s head.

*Crack*

A crisp noise echoed amidst the fleeting wind, causing the water demoness to be shocked beyond measure.

As a water-type demon, she had no actual physical body. But, this white-robed human gripped her head strongly as if he wanted to burst open her head!

The pain registered to her core rather late, but when she realized her situation, she couldn’t help but scream in agony. "Argh!!! How dare you, hooman! My child, kill them with no remainders!"

Hundreds of water demons rose from the depths of the purplish-black polluted river, attacking like a vicious wave.

"You overestimate yourself. Take care of them." He-Dao gave a signal to Yuna and Amy.

"Affirmative." Yuna and Amy extended their hands, releasing harmless pure energy to eliminate the water demons.

The water evaporated and the monsters were eradicated, leaving nothing behind, including the river’s water. The river became empty and dry in a matter of seconds, turning it into a barren ravine.

"Oops." Yuna immediately retracted her hand, shocked because the effect was not something she wanted.

"Why? I control my power carefully..." Amy looked at her hand worriedly.

It was not because the effect was less than expected, but it was more than the supposed output.

"It’s no wonder Elysia reminded us several times regarding control over our power in this world. We need to adapt more." He-Dao nodded in understanding. It was their first time visiting the world in the lower universe, and they needed to be more careful with their power usage.

"Urgh! Who are you?! Release me this instant!" The water demoness tried to free her head from the painful iron grip. She couldn’t even dissolve into the water to escape, and this situation led her to panic.

"You won’t go anywhere. Are you one of the Polluted Sea God’s avatars, or a mere clone?" He-Dao cast a binding technique before releasing the water demoness.

"?!" The water demoness was relieved, but it didn’t last long because she just realized that her minions had been reduced to ashes without her knowing how. She was bound and the river also disappeared!

"Even though I’m just a mere clone, I’m still part of the great avatar. Kill me if you dare. The other clones and avatars will hunt you down and eliminate you." The water demoness grinned, taunting with confidence.

"That’s good enough. Bring her. We’ll interrogate her in a sealed space." He-Dao proved his conjecture to be true. He turned around, opening a dimensional portal.

"Based on information from local Gods, the Sea God should be a male. But, why is he becoming her now? Is it true that he got bored of being a male and chose to be a female instead?" Yuna wondered while dragging the bound water demoness into the sealed space.

"The Sea God was rumored to be a filthy womanizer who would flirt with any girl as long as they were beautiful. Such an unfaithful man was degraded to this extent. He perhaps once tried to bed a concubine of another God, and was cursed to become a woman?" Amy tried to guess the situation.

"We’ll find out the truth from this clone. It’s a good thing our lady and her family members don’t associate with the Sea God more than casual acquaintances." Yuna felt relieved.

"How dare you badmouth us!" The water demoness shouted out loud.

Unfortunately, Yuna immediately threw the prisoner into a sealed space for interrogation before the captured would send a signal for reinforcements.

"They seem to be in a bit of a rush. What could possibly bother a Heavenly God Emperor?" Sylvia came out of the dressing room with some curiosity.

"He sensed the unusual presence in the original Wales City. It was probably the mini-boss, and he wanted to capture it." Elysia closed her eyes and shrugged her shoulders.

"Ely~" Sylvia suddenly hugged Elysia’s arm.

"What is it?" Elysia pinched Sylvia’s cheek, knowing that this demoness had a naughty idea in mind.

"Can we surprise my father? Can you please wear this pale night dress and change your hair color to silver like mine?" Sylvia looked up at Elysia’s face with a mischievous smile.

"Hum, do you want me to look like your late mother again? Your father is still grieving because he thought you were dead. Your grave has been made next to your mother’s grave. His heart probably can’t stand this little prank." Elysia tried to refuse because that demoness dress was too revealing.

It resembled the Arabian night dress, the belly dance outfit. Unfortunately, that was the dress that Sylvia’s late mother often wore, given to Sylvia by Sylvia’s father. There were two pairs, and Sylvia was already wearing one, complete with all the accessories!

"Can we?" Sylvia looked at Elysia with a pleading gaze.

"Naughty demoness, what are you trying to get our master to wear?" Yuuki jumped out of Elysia’s shadow, trying to keep that naughty night dress away from Elysia.

"No, don’t touch this." Sylvia secured the spare inherited dress from Yuuki’s hand as it was reserved for Elysia.

"I can follow your request, but I will manifest the more appropriate but similar dress, okay. Also, I don’t want to take the blame. You be the mama, and I’m the daughter." Elysia complied with Sylvia’s request, but with condition.

"Yeah, sure~" Sylvia clapped her hands happily.

"..." Elysia went to the dressing room with some thought in mind.

They would visit Devil Emperor Dylan, but she still didn’t know how to greet him after five years had passed. She only brought some souvenirs, but that Devil Emperor might be furious because she took away his daughter for years.

Therefore, she would follow Sylvia’s plan. Once Elysia changed her appearance with long silver hair and a black demoness dress, they went to enter the Devil Emperor Palace without anyone knowing.

"Wow..." Erina covered her mouth and nose, almost having a nosebleed because she watched everything from Elysia’s shadow. Unfortunately, Elysia’s body was covered by the divine light censorship.

She then looked at the other girls and wondered why they were so calm yet preoccupied. It took her a while to realize they enjoyed the view from down here! It was only Mio and her who were new to this!

’It’s no wonder Ai and Zera are so fond of staying in Ellie’s shadow. Should I tell Ellie about this? But... well, never mind. Ellie, your Goddess sisters are perverts, but I guess, I’m no different...’ Erina took a tissue from Mio and treated her nosebleed with a conflicting thought.
