Chapter 444: The Prophesied Safest Region
Chapter 444: The Prophesied Safest Region
"But still, you fare better than I expected, Ashera. You did well to seal those monsters in the sacred sealing grounds." Lifa nodded in satisfaction at what the Elven Empress did during recent years towards the Polluted Sea God’s clones and minions.
"It’s not worth mentioning, Your Divine Grace. Your return is a great grace and blessing for us and the world." Ashera, the Elven Empress, knelt before the Goddess of Life and the Goddess of Nature, followed by all the elves.
As the Elven Race, the Goddess of Life was the divinity they worshipped, but their Patron Goddess was shifted to the daughter, the Elven Goddess, known as the Goddess of Nature.
The divinity worshiped by the Elven Race and the Fairy Race was the same. Unfortunately, their ancestors made a grave mistake long ago. Those sins caused the Goddess of Life to abandon both the elves and fairies, but the Goddess of Life’s benevolence entrusted a seed of life to the elves and fairies.
The decisive battle five years ago caused the entire divine group to disappear, but happy news would arrive this year.
However, the Goddesses returned sooner than expected. Ashera’s prediction missed the mark, but it was good news.
"..." Rhea remained silent, not saying anything even though she was revered as the Elven Goddess.
"..." Ashera looked up and could only sigh. The Goddesses eliminated the Polluted Sea God’s clone for other purposes, not because they wanted to help the elves.
As for the current generation, or more precisely since five years ago, the Elven Race’s Patron Goddess shifted to the Goddess of Light. A similar situation also occurred for the Fairy Race.
Therefore, the Elven Continent and the Fairy Continent built a new type of sacred temple for the Goddess of Light.
"Are those elves? What’s with those exhibitionists? They’re not much different from charm demons." Darkness muttered loud and clear, but Fortuna immediately silenced her mouth.
"Sshh... They need to expose their skin to sunlight or moonlight to enhance their magical power." Fortuna explained a bit before inspecting the soul fragment core.
It was red in color and the size of a fist, but it possessed a divine aura that was difficult to describe. One thing was certain, this soul fragment core did not originate from the Sea God Oceanid. The divine purity and everything was pretty similar, but entirely different if she tried to look at it with her fate divinity.
"How is the result?" Nell hovered around Fortuna’s head, curious about the results of the inspection.
"A divine essence would not change drastically in such a short time even from the involvement of the corruption. This Polluted Sea God is not him." Fortuna shook her head.
"But, it has a faint aura of him. If it’s not him, and this new divinity possesses his power... is it possible that this is a newly ascended Goddess who devoured his divine power? I mean, he could have fallen into a honey trap and sucked dry by a flirtatious beautiful woman." Nell went a bit wild in her guesswork.
"..." The nearby young elf clutched the hem of Lifa’s sleeve tightly. She looked up as if asking to be carried.
"???" Lifa looked at the green-haired young elf questioningly.
It took her a few seconds to realize this little girl was none other than Hea, the Heavenly Tree’s manifestation, her seed and baby daughter that she entrusted for elves!
"You have grown and developed your humanoid form, Hea. So, you choose elf form, hmm~" Lifa crouched down and smiled gently.
"Mm." Hea nodded in reply. She was happy because her mother was safe and sound.
"Your form isn’t an avatar, right? May I know who assists you with this transformation technique?" Lifa discovered something crucial.
Hea’s current state resembled the treant’s humanoid form in the aspect of life but with an elf appearance. As the growing tree from the seed of life, Hea would be in a vulnerable situation regardless of the magic power that Hea possessed.
"Ashera taught me. I want to explore the world and look for you..." Hea looked down, feeling grateful and a little nervous.
"It’s alright. You did well. But, you need to be extra careful. Always ask Ashera to escort you everywhere. Anyway, we’ve returned now. Goddess Ely protected us all this time." Lifa stroked Hea’s long light green hair.
She had long lost that courage, and that was why she never used her true body to venture into the big, wide worlds even though her true body also had her perfect human form.
"Mm. Ashera has stated her vow to me." Hea pointed at the Elven Empress.
"Y-yes! I will protect and care for Hea even with my life at stake." Ashera put her hand to her chest as she stated it sincerity.
"Yeah, I entrusted my seed to your ancestor long ago. Nirvalen Family’s responsibility for Hea is an obligation. Since the matter here is over, how about we visit the fairies? It’s been a while since you played with your sister Celes, right?" Lifa stood up and took Hea’s hand.
"Mm, Celes will definitely be happy!" Hea felt excited and happy.
"You will also come with us. Just bring an aide." Fortuna beckoned Ashera to stand up.
Ashera chose her right-hand confidante to accompany her. She ordered the elves to return to their respective posts before she went with the Goddesses to visit the Fairy Empress Yralissa in the Zhadphis Woodland.
On the way, Fortuna talked to Ashera about what the elves would do to the cores of the Polluted Sea God’s clones to confirm something.

Several thousand miles west of the Elven Continent, Luna led her group to the Beastkin Continent’s central region. Regardless of the other members’ interests, they joined Luna’s group.
Luna, Lynn, Yusagi, Vanessa, Morfina, Yae, Lyla, and Dory arrived at Evroria City.
Lynn and Yusagi were obviously going to be on Luna’s side. Vanessa followed because the Beastkin Continent was just north of the Beast Continent. They could visit Beast Continent together after this.
Meanwhile, Dory’s purpose would need to wait because the Aquatic Continent would be the last one to visit, possibly right when it would be time to raid the world boss.
But the other representative saintesses took it easy since they had no worries in their respective homelands. To be more precise, they did not have much attachment to the land where they were born.
Yae was a talented but hermit fairy. She would hole herself up in her home, seldom getting out. Lyla was a genius and promising young craftmaster, but her old lifestyle was nomadic, and rarely stayed in one place for a long time. Thus, they had nothing to lose as they held no good impression of their respective origin.
As for Morfina, the gifted and stunning elf, she still held a bit of a grudge towards Elven Empress Ashera for suddenly picking her up and appointing her as saintess to serve the Goddess. She thought her future was crumbling because it had been determined by the Empress. Luckily, Goddess Elysia was so good. She couldn’t ask for more as she had found her happiness as Goddess Elysia’s faithful servant.
"Oh, by the name of Goddess... Beastkin Continent is close to the North Pole. Are you going to keep wearing this thin dress of yours?" Yae sat casually on Morfina’s shoulder, using Morfina’s long blonde hair as a blanket.
"Hm, I’ll wear a winter jacket then. I don’t need to expose my skin to the sunlight or moonlight to begin with." Morfina took out her winter outfit and wore it. Yae then received a better and warmer place to relax in her pocket.
Dory and Lyla also wore their winter outfits.
As the fluffy friends, they possessed a certain resistance to cold temperatures, thanks to those floofs.
"Fufu, that’s because you have our master’s ’light’ to recharge your magic power." Vanessa covered her mouth.
"Hmm-mm~" Morfina replied with a faint smile because it was true.
"Thanks." Yae let out a sigh of relief and satisfaction.
"We’ve almost arrived, right? Since this is a relatively cold area, do you think those water demons will stand a chance here?" Lyla looked at her surroundings.
The Polluted Sea God’s clones and minions possessed water elemental bodies, and freezing cold or burning heat would become their nemesis. Those water demons would freeze into ice in this region in just a matter of hours.
"Yup, and the Beastkin Continent’s central region is protected by the Dragon Race. Those water demons will freeze if they dare invade the central and north. The dragon’s fire breath is also very hot. Water can evaporate easily." Luna replied with a wink.
She wasn’t worried about anything as she knew her land was untouched by any blemishes, but that didn’t mean the Beastkin Continent was free from the Polluted Sea God’s dominion. The other regions on the Beastkin Continent were not as lucky as her former kingdom, especially the western region which directly faced the western ocean.
*Swoosh!*
A young wind dragon happened to be flying through the clouds on his patrol. He accidentally spotted several people boarding a particular magic item, flying at impressive speed.
"Halt! Where are you going, and what is the purpose of your arrival?" The wind dragon flapped its wings, creating a wind curtain to block the approaching group.
"Oh my, this is just a friendly visit. Aren’t we allowed to visit our homeland?" Luna tapped Yusagi’s shoulder as they needed to stop to say hello.
"This kind of haughtiness and vixen-like appearance... are you the Soul Fox Empress Luna?!" The wind dragon gasped in surprise as he could recognize the Soul Fox Empress easily. He was there during the dragon king’s coronation, and he couldn’t be wrong.
However, he remembered something and felt a bit suspicious. "Wait, Soul Fox Empress Luna was missing in action five years ago with the divine group’s disappearance. This person is probably a group of conmen. Old hag, you can’t deceive me!"
"Hmm?" Luna raised her folding fan with her eyes closed. She wanted to beat this stupid dragon, and she did it.
*Whamp!*
It only took Luna a blow to refresh the young wind dragon’s mind.
"Hahaha! Welcome back, Soul Fox Empress Luna. My name is Jay. I’m happy for your return." The wind dragon was suave in his greeting, but he received a large lump on his head as he got beaten before the proper introduction.
That blow was so painful, and it instantly put him into realization. The one before him was a profound expert, most likely the real deal, because Soul Fox Empress Luna held the power to rival the dragon king.
"Good. Now, please escort us to Evroria City." Luna nodded in satisfaction.
"Please this way." Jay, the wind dragon, flapped his wings and flew ahead as the escort.
