Chapter 505: Celestial Purification
Chapter 505: Celestial Purification
When the fierce battlefield finally calmed down, the seabed terrain was transformed. Rhea used her nature magic divinity to repair the severe damage to the seabed area.
The Polluted Sea God was captured and her soul was sealed, awaiting trial and the divine punishment. The World Alliance, though exhausted, celebrated their hard-won victory.
The Elysium Goddesses witnessed the alliance’s triumph. The corrupted sea monsters were wiped out from the battlefield, leaving no water demon minions alive.
"Even though it was close, you now look radiant." Elysia inspected Zera once more. Zera looked more peaceful, composed, and sparkling than usual. It was like a revitalization.
"Thank you, master." Zera thought it was a compliment. She scanned her body and discovered she had made a slight breakthrough.
"We, the darkness attribute beings, survive by slaying and absorbing the others." Ai crossed her arms and nodded in understanding.
"Then, what about you?" Amy asked out of curiosity because Elysia’s twin was so reclusive and almost always hid in Elysia’s shadow.
"I have Ely." Ai glanced aside. She spoke nothing more and vanished into Elysia’s shadow.
"She’s a bit socially awkward, right?" Amy scratched her head.
"She just doesn’t want to waste her time with you." Yuna shrugged her shoulders.
"Let’s descend. The outcome is almost resolved." Elena noticed that Lifa and Rhea had started digging to uncover the truth about Oceanid’s fall.
"Mm. They also requested our assistance. The corrupted sea also needs to be purified." Elysia nodded in agreement. She then looked aside, coming up with an offer. "Yuna, do you want to learn my method of purifying evil energy? I can guide you to improve your white magic."
"Thank you. I really appreciate your guidance, my lady. Please allow me to follow your teachings." Yuna clasped her fist in respect. Because Elysia became the teacher, then she would gladly absorb every lesson like a diligent student.
"Is Lady Ely a bit biased lately? She pays more attention to Yuna. Is it just me? What do you think, my lord?" Amy muttered to herself.
"That’s just you. I have registered and paid the tuition fee deposit for the three of us. My lady, I also have purification talent. Can you guide me as well?" He-Dao patted Amy’s shoulder and hurried to follow Elysia’s team.
"Yeah, that’s good! Let’s go." Elysia invited everyone to go with her.
"Master, I will join you later." Xentia refused, or more precisely, she couldn’t leave right now.
She had to monitor everything that happened in various corners of the world to make sure everything was under control. After all, when the World Alliance besieged the Polluted Sea God in the corrupted sea, various regions around the world also experienced the turmoil of war.
The sea monsters invaded the land. Everything went as previously predicted, but she had to ensure nothing would go wrong.
"Mm, thank you for your hard work, Xen. Fortuna will accompany you in the meantime." Elysia extended her hand, asking Fortuna to stay by Xentia’s side.
"Alright." Fortuna agreed. She would gladly stay at ES Nirvana rather than have to deal with the corrupted energy down there.
"I think... I want to stay as well. I can look after Erina for you." Darkness felt a little doubtful. She felt no good omen came from below, so she wanted to play it safe.
"What are you talking about? We also wish to descend. If you want to look after me, then you have no choice but to come with me." Erina grabbed Darkness’ hand. The deep ocean stored more precious rare metals than the land, and she wished to try her luck.
"No, I don’t know why, but the corrupted energy down there makes me nervous."
"We’re with the purification team. Also, you are in Goddess Ely’s presence. Do you think her grace will let something harm you?"
"N-no, well. Alright then."
"That’s good."
Erina managed to convince Darkness to go with the purification team. They left ES Nirvana and descended to the sea below.
One kilometer above the corrupted sea surface, Elysia hovered before her new students. For this lesson, Amy had to be excluded since the Agent of the Dark Realm possessed no purification ability.
Elysia’s radiant presence filled the sky with an ethereal glow. He-Dao and Yuna, clad in their new student robes waited with their eyes filled with reverence and anticipation.
Elysia raised her hand, and a soft, melodious hum filled the air. Her voice was like the sweetest of melodies, "Today, you will learn the Celestial Purification, a sacred technique to cleanse the corrupted sea and restore its pristine beauty."
She gestured toward the vast sea below. As she spoke, the water began to ripple, reflecting the light of the countless stars.
With a graceful motion, Elysia summoned a sphere of pure white-gold light, glowing with the intensity of a miniature star. "This light is the essence of celestial purity. It has the power to eradicate evil energy and cleanse the corruption."
She slowly lowered the sphere toward the corrupted sea. As it touched the water’s surface, a dazzling transformation began. The light spread out in ripples, illuminating the sea with a brilliant white glow.
"Now, my students, you will learn to harness this light and channel it through your own beings." Elysia moved gracefully among her students, guiding their hands and imbuing them with celestial energy.
He-Dao and Yuna felt a surge of warmth and power as they focused their energies, creating smaller orbs of light that mirrored Elysia’s light of purification. They were already familiar with this kind of power, and Elysia’s follow-up guidance helped them to grasp the secret importance of improving their purification technique to the next level.
To conclude the lesson, the Elysia demonstrated the greater power of Celestial Purification. She extended her hand, and the sphere of light above the sea expanded, growing brighter and more intense until it resembled a miniature sun.
The light shone brightly, and the water began to sparkle with an otherworldly brilliance. He-Dao and Yuna watched in awe as the light eradicated every trace of corruption, leaving the water clearer and more pristine than ever.
As the lesson ended, Elysia spoke of the importance of this technique in their upcoming battle. "Remember, my students, this light is not just the evil nemesis, but a promise of renewal. It represents hope, purity, and the power to restore balance to our world."
"Thank you for your guidance." He-Dao and Yuna expressed their respect and gratitude.
"Now then, you need to practice your improved purification technique. Please cleanse the Aquatic Continent from corruption. Ensure your light touches the seabed once the corrupted water is purified." Elysia pushed the sphere of light into the deep sea, purifying the corruption down to the deepest layers.
The sea was illuminated by divine light that shone into all its deepest layers, and the color of the seabed began to fade from the dark contamination, returning to its original light brown state.
He-Dao and Yuna nodded in understanding. They split up to share the tasks between the northern and southern regions. They practiced their improved technique to mastery separately.
"!~" Elysia hummed happily. She didn’t need to exert more energy to cleanse the vast ocean because He-Dao and Yuna could do the job in the name of practice.
After seeing her diligent new students doing their tasks with enthusiasm, Elysia brought her team to the mid-ocean hole to meet Lifa and everyone.
"My lady, how about my lesson?" Amy pointed to her face. She felt it was unfair because she got nothing while Yuna already received good guidance twice.
"You will get your turn. Your specialty is the dark attribute to destroy things, right?" Elysia faintly smiled as she had designed a special program for Amy.
It was a bit similar to the darkness attribute training that Ai, Zera, and Sylvia usually do. However, she had to measure the depth of Amy’s control over one’s power first. Her raw strength wasn’t as strong as Amy’s, but when it came to control and understanding the laws, she could still provide Amy with some guidance.
"Y-yeah..." Amy rubbed her head, feeling a bit embarrassed when her specialty was mentioned as that.
By the time Elysia’s team landed to regroup with Lifa’s team, a chunk of light purple crystal had already been brought out to the surface. An ancient blue casket, half contaminated by corruption.
"This crystal..." Gaia tapped the purple crystal as if she was somewhat familiar with it.
"Have you ever encountered such a crystal on Earth? This is a crystal sealing technique, a life-saving divine-tier protective technique to preserve one’s body, soul, and spirit. Everything was frozen inside." Lifa explained a little in case Gaia didn’t know. She then asked for Elysia’s opinion regarding the situation.
"We can’t forcefully destroy it from the outside or it may harm him severely." Elysia put her hand to her chin.
The soul search carried out by Lifa pointed to this casket, so Oceanid obviously sealed himself inside out of a desperate measure.
"Ely, what if you use Amy’s dark divinity to trim this crystal? That could be her private practice under your guidance. If it were you, this crystal could be destroyed without scratching the casket." Elena proposed a spontaneous idea.
"It’s viable. Let’s do this my trim- I mean, Student Amy." Elysia thought it was a good idea.
"Why do I feel like you are referring to me as a tool?" Amy felt a bit complicated, but direct guidance from the Supreme Goddess would be ultra valuable. Thus, she obediently followed Elysia’s every command.
She manifested her dark power at her fingertip, trying her best to control her power to trim the crystal chunk a little, just a thin slice.
"That will take a while. Let’s clean the battlefield first. You shouldn’t just leave her dried corpse there." Elena lectured Lifa like a strict instructor.
"..." Lifa looked aside and thought so too. Thus, she immediately got it done neatly and quickly, leaving no Polluted Sea God’s remnant behind.
As for the destroyed water demon avatars, their divine core fragments had to be specially purified first before anyone would take advantage of them, without exception.
